Energy – Leadership cont\’d
I had such great feedback from my last post (sorry it has been awhile it has been an incredible and busy 1st quarter for me), I wanted to continue on this theme. Many of you have heard this concept before \”Time will other promote you or expose you\” I have seen too many leaders in the industry of Network Marketing after having 1 great year, 2 years or even maybe 3 years, their teams eventually implode and the pattern continues to the next business they join. The statement that I am about to make may be a little controversial, it is not uncommon in Network Marketing to see Leaders in this industry who have successfully built teams in many companies 2,3 4, or even 5 different ones, but unfortunately the pattern continues where it falls apart. Incredibly you have these great talented people are living in a certain Paradigm that causes these teams to fall apart, with most of these people they really never take personal responsibility for this implosion however, from the outside looking in the pattern definitely becomes apparent – \”Time will other promote you or expose you\”. What I personally have figured out traveling the Globe building my business building in the trenches, Leadership really starts with Self Esteem – how you feel about yourself. If you are a Leader and have had success in this industry developing large teams and it has fallen apart for you at least a few times, at first I understand it is easy to blame the company, they may have changed the comp plan, broken promises etc…, eventually when it happens a 2nd time, a 3rd time you will need to start looking from the inside so the pattern can be broken, what I would call a \”mental enema\”. As Bob Proctor states \”Change your Paradigms and your life will change\”. Even though you may feel you have great self esteem and no issues, \”work with me on this\” and reflect on what I am going to share with you. In Leadership like everything else Love is the center and the core of everything, and that Self is the place where all love must begin. Those who love and respect others grandly are those who love and respect themselves grandly. Those who have a high toleration and acceptance of others are those who have a high toleration and acceptance of themselves. Those who build their business with integrity build their families with integrity, treating everyone on their teams that they are just as special as the next person no matter what the pin level, have in turn will reveal themselves to their teams as a Leader who leads by example in all areas of their lives. Someone worth emulating. You cannot show another a part of you that you cannot show yourself. Therefore, begin where all growth, where all evolution, where all love must begin: with the person in the mirror. Want to build a long term residual income? The Person in the mirror will always in a position of Leadership will either promote or expose themselves eventually!! So what is the mirror saying to you these days? Joe\’s European Magazine interview transcript
I was recently interviewed by one of Europe\’s top selling magazines Money/Profit Magazine which will be featured in their October issue. The following is the transcript from the interview. Enjoy!!! – Your company is successful, operating globally. What is the recipe how to do good business? Well this is a question that I certainly cannot do justice in just a few lines. Ultimately a successful business is operated by a person who definitely understands right to the detail what they want. From my experience this is 90% of the work. When one understands what they want in great detail and spends majority of that focus on this eventually they will achieve what they want! This is the starting point of all achievement. – Some publications say that system of Network marketing is unique because man could succeed only by helping the others. What is truthful on it? Network Marketing is the essence of capitalism, in the corporate world in upper management your goal is to keep your job or better yet get a promotion which usually means you are taking someones job. When training your subordinates you definitely are not encouraged to teach them all you know because they may end up taking your job. In Network Marketing the goal is to develop a high performance team by helping others achieve by teaching them all you know and if you don’t have the ability yet there will be business partners in the system that will help and duplicate this process. Unlike the corporate world you want to have people in your team surpass your skill sets, become better than you because this will mean you will make alot more money. So you see the more people who achieve in your team the more money you will make, this is why I stated that Network Marketing is the essence of Captailism. – You travel around the world. How do you harmonize the professional life with the personal life? I love this question due to the fact that this is an area that many business professionals, entrepreneurs etc… struggle with. One of the great assets of the Network Marketing industry is our focus on Personal Development, I understood when I started in the industry for me to make more money, to reach my goals and dreams I needed to get better. I needed to spend my time on what will help me on a daily basis to achieve my dreams. So I immersed myself into self help books and cd programs which allowed me overtime to get to a conscious level which helped me in balancing my time. Don’t get me wrong this is an area that you consistently need to work on especially a person like myself who is always focusing on getting better and helping more people around the globe. One of the things that I have done over the years when I have travelled is have my family join me which is all part of this balance. – Who is the inspiration for you? Why? I really don’t have that 1 person that has inspired me, I am a great people watcher and I have taken great things from people who have inspired me in their own little way and applied it into my life. For example my father who has battled diabetes and won due to his incredible daily discipline which never wavers, my business partner Dan Catto www.dancatto.com who was my first mentor in the industry inspired me by his great attitude and work ethic. My wife Margaret for her selfless devotion to me and our kids., I can go on and on. – It is rumoured, that more successful man has more work and therefore less time. Is it true for you? I can see that happening in many industries the great part of my Network Marketing Global business I get paid whether or not I work. My business does not depend on me, due to the fact I have built a massive business that pays me residual income. So I can take a month off, and not worry about employees, business headaches, etc… that you would have in a traditional business. When you develop the necessary skills in our industry which takes time, the lifestyle due to the residual income I make is like no other, this is called total freedom. – What is relax for you? One of my other passions is coaching soccer I have been doing this for 13 years. I also play soccer competitively and other sports. Spending time with my family is definitely 1 of my priorities so as a family we love to travel, I find this so relaxing uplifting and it definitely recharges my batteries. – To catch the costumer´s attention is more and more difficult. What works the best in today´s world? It is important today as a marketer, business person that you need to focus on solving problems for your customers and future potential customers. When you learn to do this effectively this will definitely seperate you from your competition. For example I have a friend of mine who took over his family’s floundering jewelry business. So he came to me for some help. Since my friend was a diamond expert I had shared with him that he should start a course in teaching people everything he knows about diamonds. He was so concerned over the business going bankrupt he could not see how this would help the business. I told him to trust me. Starting from a room in the back of the store he had a few people show up the first week, by the 4th week it grew to 30 people by the 6th month he had to hold the course in Hotel rooms. Well to make a long story short, due to the fact he was offering his course and sharing his expertise for free he started to build trust, the word started to spread and when these people who attended
Are you holding back?
There was a farmer who was out walking in a field. He looked down and saw a tiny pumpkin growing on a vine. Nearby, he spotted a small glass jar. The farmer reached down and placed the tiny pumpkin inside the small jar. The pumpkin continued to grow until it filled the inside of the jar. Beyond which it could not grow. There are a number of people like that tiny pumpkin. They limit themselves and refuse to take a risk. They never truly test the strength of their abilities. You will never get to second base if you keep one foot on first. Too many people go through their entire lives playing their cards close to their chest. They never step out and bet on the surest thing in the world … themselves. If you hope to succeed in your Network Marketing business and achieve high goals, history records that the first few steps have a high degree of risk. You must turn your back on safety and security. To make it big, you must take big risks. You will very likely have to put yourself in a highly vulnerable position, and get out of your comfort zone. It is real important to understand the times that you grow the most is when you live outside your comfort zone. Eleanor Roosevelt said, \”You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.\” Follow her advice and liberate yourself from the crippling emotional state of fear and enter into a world of freedom. Power Gratitude
The Universal Law of Gratitude. Have you heard about it? This is one of the main reasons I am where I am today. Let me explain….. \”He who would be blest, let him scatter blessings.\” – Above Life\’s Turmoil James Allen wrote this line to make his point about sowing and reaping. I’m going to use the line to make a point about the power of giving thanks, of having an “attitude of gratitude.” The Bible, Talmud and all the great world religions include the power of gratitude in their teachings. In the Koran it is written that “If you are grateful, I will give you more.” Indeed, sometimes it’s pretty amazing the way the universe rewards those who are grateful. It’s almost as if the Creator says “he’s thankful for what he has, let’s give him some more.” And the opposite can also appear to be true. As if the Creator says “he’s unhappy with what he has now, so let’s not give him any more.” Sincere gratitude seems to unlock abundance in our lives. Numerous scientific studies indicate people who are thankful for what they have are happier, have better relationships and enjoy better health — the only reasons you need to have an attitude of gratitude. But there are practical reasons too. In one study the participants who had been in the gratitude condition reported having made more progress toward their goals. Americans gather this week to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday but this message is for those of all nationalities. Gratitude and Thanksgiving aren’t just once a year or even once a month things. Spending time each day giving thanks for the blessings in your life (and everyone has blessings they can count) is a great habit to develop. Jeff Keller, author of Attitude is Everything, says, “It costs you nothing to be grateful and appreciative, yet it has a considerable impact on the quality of your life. So, don\’t waste another minute. Every day, reflect on the priceless gifts you\’ve been enjoying. Openly share your gratitude with others. And, the next time somebody asks if anything great happened to you today, you\’ll have plenty to say!” Everyday I have gotten in the habit to give thanks thus one of the main reasons I consistently get fantastic results, I am certainly making sure I am taking nothing for granted. What\’s this energy thing about?
One of the most important lessons that i have learned on my Global travels, the thousands of business presentations and training\’s I have done all over the world, the observing of people of all cultures, the teachings of Great Teachers like Bob Proctor, Robert Anthony, Anthony Robbins the Iconic Teachings of Jesus, Budda etc.. is how to have great experiences happen to you on a consistent basis. The higher you vibrate with your energy level (I am not talking about rah rah, I am talking about focusing on what you want, be happy, be respectful, think great thoughts, this raises your energy to the point where you make more money, this is what essentially DREAMING Big Dreams is all about) Money will flow to you easily and effortlessly. But how do you go about raising your energy? In the graph below – 0% represents no energy and 100% represents maximum energy. 0%—————–25%————–50%————–100% If someone is at 0% energy, then they are dead. Unfortunately, many people are living just above 0% energy. How many Prospects have you talked to in the past that fit this level and that you are continuing to chase hoping they will join you in your business? At the other end of the graph, 100% represents the highest positive energy available. As you move up the scale, you will have more of the good things in life because you are vibrating and evolving at a higher level and this only happens through surrounding yourself with the right people – feeding your mind with greatness on a daily basis which leads to greater thoughts and thus great actions and then it leads to greater results. The higher up you move on the scale, the more easily you will be able to attract great things into your life without it being blocked. Your energy level not only attracts money into your life, it attracts everything else, including other people. If you have a very dense or low level of energy, you are going to manifest that same energy you are projecting. In other words, you will attract people and relationships into your life that have the same low level, dense energy. Have you ever seen a depressed and negative person succeed long term. Want more money please read and really pay attention to my words, increase your vibration level you will make more money then you ever thought was possible for yourself. I look at our million dollar earners and very successful people in other industry\’s, you see a pattern of positive attitudes, positive action, positive emotions and thus positive results. Negative attitudes, confrontational attitudes, fear, jealously, unhappy thoughts etc.. is what the masses focus on and thus the reason why they are stuck due to their focus on being wronged by a person or some incident that happened 10 years etc…, consequently they are not moving forward and never will attract abundance and prosperity. Stop right here and think about this because it is a key point to opening the flow of money into your life. When you fully understand this you will see the whole world differently. We can sum it up this way – if you raise your energy level, you will raise your income in your business I promise you. How can I make that promise? Well in June 23 1993 I walked into a meeting room at the Sheraton Hotel in the east end of Toronto, I watched a very successful man after his training, people gravitated to him in droves, just looking at him and watching him there was something different about him, these were my exact thoughts that day. When I figured it out, I understood the secret to his success and all I did at the age of 25 I started to do the same,which led me to a life of great success, prosperity and abundance. Who is whispering in your ear?
Many years ago I had a defining moment in my NM career which changed everything for me. It was so clear to me, if I wanted to change personally where I was financially, my lifestyle, my relationships I needed to do this! I stopped taking financial advice from people that were broke. I Stopped taking advice from people who never build a serious residual income in 1 company for more than 5 years. I stopped getting health tips from unhealthy people. I stopped taking relationship advice from people with toxic or boring relationships and I stopped looking for spiritual guidance from people that couldn\’t demonstrate to me that they were attracting what they were preaching. It sounds pretty simple doesn\’t it? But take a look at how often you take advice from people who have not who don\’t walk the talk. How many times have we seen people in our industry get excited when they started their business only to quit a few days later because they spoke to their broke family member who never had any history of success in business. I follow the rule that \”if they don\’t SHOW it, they don\’t KNOW it\” and I learned to stay away from these people like they had the plague particularly when I was trying to establish myself in the industry of Network Marketing. We certainly have an epidemic in the business world where people are professing that they are the experts, they have learned to brand themselves real well. I am all for branding yourself it is good marketing strategy, but keep in mind be careful who you are taking advice from. Instead, I found people who had manifested what I desired and ask them for help. These are what we call mentors. It is critical in the business world, particularly in Network Marketing to have a mentor. You surround yourself with the best you become the best.
