For over 20 years I have volunteered for the Good Shepherd organization on their Saturday soup kitchens and their Christmas store. Families & individuals in need would register for the store and at an allotted time they would go throughout the store and choose food, toys, clothes etc…

Since I was usually the youngest volunteer it was my job to carry the boxes from their shopping spree down a flight of steps and into their cars. I began to notice car after car that I loaded over the years were filthy dirty in most cases it looked like the cars had never been clean before. I could not help the thought or try not to judge, but I just imagined what their houses looked like and maybe it was a glimpse into why they were struggling in their finances.   Before any of you take this post personally, please keep in mind I had loaded over the years thousands of cars, my observation did not come in a small sample size.
Furthermore, a few years ago I was going to do business with a Real estate agent in investing in a few homes with her. I met her at her house and we jumped into her car and I was aghast the car was filthy with weeks old coffee cups & wrappers, her back seat was full of papers.  She explained that she was using her car as an office as she probably saw the expression on my face. That was the deal breaker for me, if she allowed her car to be this messy what other things in her life she kept messy.

You may not think that a clean car is important but it can be a reflection about you and your life in many areas.. When you respect your belongings particularly your biggest assets like a car that energy will continue through out your life in a big positive way.   Always keep in mind the energy that exudes from you and what you own will always revert back to you in one way or another…
