Getting UNSTUCK
Recently I had a conversation with one of my Global Leaders regarding her feeling stuck in the business and her life. She went on to tell me that she feels that she is taking 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. I am sure most of you can relate to this feeling of being stuck. I want to help you understand why so many of you feel stuck and like you are struggling… Many of us are stuck due to the fact you cannot see past your limitations. When we live in the bottom of our limitations we believe that what we see is real and we become trapped by an awareness of lack and struggle. AND because we are surrounded by many other people who are also trapped by their limitations, our beliefs and the beliefs we are surrounded with are also limited… It becomes really difficult to believe in the possibility of freedom when all you are focused on is your limitations. And when all you can see from your limited vision is restriction and limitation, you live in a state of survival and that\’s when you get stuck. Now, here is the good news, you can get out of being stuck by expanding your awareness. The key to staying unstuck is to permanently change your beliefs. And you can do this consciously and deliberately. [You can take back your power.] You can free yourself from the limitations and start to remove your limitations! It all begins with awareness. Start by becoming conscious of who you are listening too. Are you listening to people who are living in struggle and effort people who are stuck like you? Pay attention and your consciousness will begin to shift immediately. Lastly go back to the basics with regards to your Personal Development, read 30 to 60 minutes a day, go back to some of the books that resonated with you in the past and study them. It\’s amazing what happens when you reach this awareness, of looking at changing some of your beliefs with regards to Limitations, and replace them with Prosperity and Abundance beliefs. Furthermore just a reminder to stop listening to the wrong people, your path to whatever you want in life will soon come to you very quickly. To your great blessings, Joe Garcia
Failure is not an option!!!
The other day a prospect had asked me why have I been so successful with my Network Marketing Global business. I quickly thought about it & replied \’when I started I decided that failure was not an option\’. I made a commitment that I was going to succeed. “Resolution is the directing and impelling force in individual progress. Without it no substantial work can be accomplished.” – Above Life\’s Turmoil The esteemed philosopher Goethe wrote, \”Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.\” There are so many people who have joined my business & have quit, that could have made their lives better if only they made the decision (resolution) to pursue the business like I have. Whether it’s fear, doubt or some other insecurity that holds us back, these missed opportunities keep us from living the life of our dreams. I see too many good talented people in our industry make decisions that continue to hurt them year after year. Sure they have some good \”runs\” make some money but they always seem to be rebuilding a new business. Why is that? It\’s start with the basic idea of what I am sharing with you in this post. In 711 a North African warrior, whose army was backed up to the Mediterranean Sea, gave the unthinkable order to his men to \”burn your boats,\” thus taking away his army’s only means of escape. Faced with certain death unless they were victorious, his army routed their opponents even though they were outnumbered five to one. When we are likewise resolved, we too can conquer all the obstacles in our path. Don\’t worry about \”how-to-do-it.\” One of my early mistakes was trying to figure out how I was going to do something before I\’d get committed to do it. Now I think about all of the great inventions of our time, and I wonder if we’d have any of them if the inventor had waited to make his commitment until he knew how he was going to do it. Making the decision (the resolution) to do it is the most important part of any undertaking. As W.H. Murray wrote, “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!” If you don’t feel like you have enough information to make a decision, then by all means, get the information. But don’t put off getting the information as a means to put off making the decision. And don’t think you have to have ALL the information that’s available — you only need ENOUGH to fully evaluate and decide. “Paralysis by analysis” has killed many a dream. Any decision is almost always better than no decision as it puts into play some powerful forces. As Goethe also told us, “Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one\’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.” Make a decision today that Failure is not an option and a foundation of long lasting success will follow you. \”My greatest asset and why I am where I am today is my tenacity to persist until I succeed\” Joe Garcia \”The moment you are ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens. Why are so many of us struggling?
Why are so many of us struggling? Because we have forgotten WHO WE ARE. Who we are is our True Self that is always connected and one with Source Energy (God). On the other hand, who we THINK we are is how we show up in life. If we are struggling we will never be who we are. Let that sink in for a moment. Who we THINK we are comes from listening to other people rather than listening to ourselves. Earlier on in my career before I truly considered myself as a leader, I believed what others told me to believe. I learned early that what other people think of me is more important that what I think of myself. At least this is what I thought. Living on purpose and working towards your goals and dreams is about focusing on WHO YOU ARE and what you can do in this moment. It is not about who you are not, what you cannot do, and what you don\’t have. WHO YOU ARE is everything. It is the ONLY thing that really matters because everything hinges on your ability to be yourself and to do that you must become intimately aware of the false beliefs you have about yourself and about the way life works. When you live focused on your dreams and goals You are connected with Source Energy you know you already have what you need. People who live this way are more than just positive thinkers – they are attraction in action. They accept life is not always easy and doesn\’t always follow a straight and convenient path. They let life unfold through them instead of putting their life into a box of expectations. Your greatness is not dependent upon anything you accomplish. You don\’t need to prove anything to anyone – even yourself. I am here to tell you one thing – you and everyone that comes in contact with you are already great. To live your greatness, you must know WHO YOU ARE and you must do what you can do in THIS MOMENT. Nothing else is required. When you come to this awareness you will be unstoppable. FREEDOM
I have been fortunate to travel the world now over 50 countries, which has helped me to get to an awareness/conscious level that I am very grateful for. No matter what city/country I have visited HUMAN BEINGS want the same thing – FREEDOM!!!! Let me explain what the definition of FREEDOM is for most…….. In the United States of America, Canada and through-out the world lies a large industrial city which is the site of one of the world\’s largest slave labor camps. Located in and around the center of this city are community settlements where the slaves live. Each morning the slaves move herd-like from their quarters into the slave labor camps. Each one is at his or her station by 7:30 AM – 900 a.m . Here they report to their master for the day\’s duties. And here they remain chained until at least 5:00 PM when they\’re released to go home. The slaves have no choice as to how many hours they must labor. Sometimes they are required to work overtime until their master tells them they may leave and go home. Each year the slaves are told when to take their vacations, for how long, and when they must return. They have little choice as to how much money they earn as they are paid not what they are worth, but what the job is worth. They are allowed very little time for lunch and coffee breaks during the labor hours. The slaves will remain in their chains in great fear because the master can punish them with the \”firing\” or \”layoff\” whip. It is said that even some of the older slaves who have been good and faithful have felt the sting of the whip. Day by day, year-by-year, the slaves toil and grow older until the master decides it is time to release them to the retirement camps where they\’re forced to sit idle and wait for death. It\’s a well-known fact that the old slaves who try to keep working are sometimes whipped with a \”stop-their-pension\” whip. I know these slave camps exist for I once was a slave. But now I am a free man who lives among the slaves. The reason I am free is because I am in business for myself as a Network Marketer – Global business man. Yes, I am truly free. I arise in the morning at the hour called for by my schedule. I decide my own hours. I can even sleep in late while the slaves are at work. I can vacation when, where, and for how long I please. I\’m free to take my coffee break and lunch when I decide. And of course, I can decide my own paycheck because I am not a slave. I can choose to work when and where I please and with whom I please. I\’m free to stay in the city for as long as I want, or to move on to greener pastures if I decide to. I\’ve seen many slaves sadly pack their belongings to leave their city in search of a new master, but it is always the same. There is, however, a ray of hope for the slave. He or she can buy their own freedom. The cost is not high, yet it seems high to those who do not have the courage to pay the price. What is the price? ONE MUST BE WILLING TO BE ONE’S OWN MASTER! Live Your Freedom and reach for your Goals in this great industry of Network Marketing/Direct sales. Many years ago I had a defining moment when I was a \”slave\” managing a Multi million dollar Fitness/Racquet Facility when the owners one day told me they were selling and the next day it was sold. Thank God this forced me to look at my future and right there and then I made a decision to have this freedom, without the decision I would not have the freedom I am enjoying now, have you really made that decision? The power behind this decision that you shall \” persist until you succeed\” is ultimately why you will succeed and be FREE!!!!!! Why my business once again collapsed?
Joanne was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug in her late 20’s, she dreamed of a lifestyle that was so opposite to her upbringing. After a few years she realized she was in the wrong business, her life was not what she expected it to be. One day she engaged in a conversation with a middle aged women while shopping this chance meeting turned out to be a defining moment for her. This woman was so enthusiastic that all she could hear was the “music” she was sharing. This music stirred up so much emotion inside her that every part of her body was on high alert status. Frankly the business she was sharing was too good to be true. You see Joanne was a franchise owner who bought into the entrepreneurial dream however, she was tired of the long hours, lack of freedom, employee headaches etc…. All she could understand from this brief introduction was when she shared this line “you can make a lot of money while you sleep.” This is what she was lacking in her life “FREEDOM” and therefore this subsequently became her DREAM!!! After doing her research on the industry, attending events, meeting with top earners. Joanne made a decision that she was going to join a Network Marketing company and create a residual income that would provide her the Lifestyle Freedom she desperately wanted which consisted of more quality time with her family, the ability to at a moments notice jump on a plane and travel to an exotic location even if it was just for a few days, purchase a winter home in Maui, Hawaii overlooking the Pacific Ocean where she could continue to work her business. 10 years later Joanne is forced to look back at her career in Network Marketing due to the fact she had recently in the last 18 months joined a company (her 5th in 10 years) that showed promised however, her organization once again died. Even though she had achieved some success financially and been able to support her family she was no-where close to that residual income DREAM. Joanne after this collapse of her business once again went for a long walk in the woods. This collapse of her business had been a pattern with her previous 4 companies, she would build it up due to her great recruiting skills create great organizational volume and then it would fall apart 1 to 2 years later. She would always blame the company, it was something the company always did that destroyed her business which made it easy for her to look for another opportunity. About a mile in the woods Joanne bumped into a women named Lacy who was resting on a bench apparently after a long jog. Joanne decided to engage in conversation with her she needed someone to talk too even if it was a stranger. After a bunch of small talk Joanne asked her what she did for a living, to her surprise Lacy shared with her that she was a Network Marketing Professional for the last 10 years and when on to share with her why she joined Network Marketing. Joanne immediately was enthralled because Lacy and her had something in common they joined for the same reason the residual income DREAM! To Joanne’s surprise Lacy’s story was completely different than hers. Lacy had shared with her that she struggled for 5 years, she had to rebuild several times in the 5 years but stayed with the company she joined even though new opportunities were enticing, she recognized she had to take personal responsibility for her failures (first rule of great leadership). Lacy continued to share with her the defining moment in her business, when one of her closest friends and front line business partner hit her with comments that shook her foundation which was shared to her by an industry leader. Maybe the reason why we have had to rebuild several times over the years is because we broke many leadership rules like the following – “Time will either Promote you or expose you” especially in Leadership (2nd rule of Leadership). Her friend went on to share with her instances in their business where they did not follow through with what they said they would do especially when times got tough which ended up disappointing some of their team leaders at the time and subsequently they quit because they no longer believed in their leadership. Furthermore, her friend continued to share other details of the conversation with this Network Marketing Leader regarding recognition. Do you remember the times we were so focused on our personal recognition and getting to the next rank that some of our leaders became upset (3rd rule of leadership – the focus should never be about you as a leader your focus should always be about helping people reach their goals and next ranks) This focus led to more leaders leaving the business because they felt alienated, confused, not supported etc… Bottom line it’s was always about Lacy… Joanne started to become very uncomfortable as she recognized moments in her business that according to Lacy were huge Leadership errors that led to her rebuilding over and over again. By the end of the conversation Lacy shared with her what transpired after this defining moment in her business, she realized she needed to start from scratch and work harder on herself on a daily basis (4th rule of Leadership – your income will be directly tied to how much you grow as a person). Lacy went on to state that her business started to thrive when she bought into these very important Leadership truths . More importantly she shared with Joanne what Lacy emphatically felt was the most important of all Leadership rules was Leading by example (5th rule of leadership – the speed of the team will always be based on the speed of the Leader. The most respected leaders are the ones that are qualifying for all
I am MONEY!!!
The number 1 challenge or resistance that most people have to achieving their goals is their relationship with money. Most people at best have a very dysfunctional relationship with money. I hope the following words I share with you helps you in your path of finding TRUE FREEDOM when it comes to money. If this touches you I would appreciate your feedback on the post…. Most people think they know me. They don\’t. I am not what most people think I am. I am not the paper in your wallet, or the coins that jingle in your purse. I am not quietly sitting in your bank account, hoping to be used one day. You cannot see me, feel me or touch me. I am an idea. I am energy. I\’m neither good nor evil. I am only what you decide that I am, and I fulfill the role that you create for me. I don\’t care how smart you are, where you live, what you do, or where you come from. All I care about is your energy. Your energy decides what thoughts you have, and therefore your thoughts will determine the relationship you have with me. I have very simple needs, and simple rules. I am infinite. I have no limits, except for those you place on me with your mind. There is no limit to the energy in the world, and because I am simply energy, I cannot be restricted or controlled. I crave abundance. I am attracted to those who think without restrictions, who like to think big. When you believe there is enough of me to go around, I am naturally magnetized by that thinking. I despise scarcity. Because there is no limit to me, I avoid those who think from a win/lose or scarcity perspective. Those who believe I am in short supply, or difficult to receive, will find that very reality, because I choose to avoid those who think small. I love value. What magnetizes me most is the creation of value in the universe. I move to places where value is created, because creation is energy. If you wish to attract me into your life, focus on creating value for others, and I will appear. I avoid entitlement and complacency. No one \’deserves\’ to have me, and I am always moving to the place I am most respected and where value is created. It has nothing to do with \’fair\’. Those who take me for granted or become complacent with my energy will find me gone. I only have one job, and that is to serve you. It is a matter of energy and value creation. My purpose is simply to move to where I am attracted most, and where I can grow. My one goal is to replicate myself. Because there is no limit to energy, my purpose is to reproduce and grow, in order to bring more energy to the universe. I am created and replicated through value creation. I am an energy of evolution. The message for you should be clear. Those who create value for others in the world will find me in their lives. I am whatever you believe me to be. So what you believe about me can make you miserable, or what you believe can enable you to perform miracles. I\’m neither positive, nor negative. I am what you decide I am. If you fear me in any way, I can crush your ability to survive. If you get to know me, I can make your life flourish and your dreams come alive. I can be your master, or I can be your servant. Go Full Time in Network Marketing
A Step-by-Step Plan to go Full time in your Network Marketing Business. So you just signed up with your company or you have been a distributor for awhile your goal is too earn a full-time income over the next year lets just say it is approx $5000 a mnth Great goal! How do you do it It is very tough to get a handle of what it is like to be earning $5000 per month, with a downline of 200 – 300 people when you are brand new with a downline of zero and not even one prospect yet. So lets break it down and find out what it means to become a great sponsor. First, what you need to do is figure out how many people would you need to sponsor personally. Let me help you out with this, from my experience you probably would need to sponsor at least 36 people. You also need to look at what would be your target market. OK, now you have something to work with. In one year you have to sponsor 36 people to hit that \”average\” mark. Now, I don\’t know about you but I can only do one thing at a time. That means I need to know what I need to do today so I can reach my goal one year from now. Here we go. First, to sponsor 36 people in a year you would, on average, have to sponsor 3 people per month. OK, step one done. Now you know on a monthly basis what you need to accomplish. Second, how do you sponsor 3 people per month. If you use the average figure that for every 3 full presentations you give, you will sponsor one of them; you will need to give 9 or 10 full presentations per month. OK, that is easy, you just need to find 9 -10 people each month who are *seriously* interested in what you have to offer. These are people who pass through the first stage of the whole process, your approach. Third, to give 9-10 presentations per month you need to find 9 -10 people who are: 1. Wanting to start a business. 2. Want more time freedom to spend with the kids or just LIFESTYLE FREEDOM 3. Want to be free financially. 4. Fed up with their current situation in life. 5. (You fill in a reason, there are 100\’s of reasons why people are interested in Network Marketing) Again, the averages say to find one person who is seriously interested you need to approach 5 people. That is 45 people you need to approach per month. If you work 5 days a week that works out to be 2 or 3 people per day. Great, now you know what you have to do each and every day to reach your goal of earning a minimum of $5000 a mnth. Note that I have seen people in my team follow this plan and they are now making well over $10,000 amnth. Here is where you find out if you are treating this like a business or like a hobby. If you are approaching several people per day and giving 3 or 5 presentations per week, its a business for you. If you are approaching one or 2 people per week or only working one day per week then its a hobby What do I mean when I say, \”2 or 3 approaches per day An approach is when you share a little information with a lot of people. This can either be a business card(drop card) you give to the (gas station attendant, waitress, guy in the elevator, etc) to go to your marketing site like for example I use www.Steamteam.ca or my capture page www.wedocreatemillionaires.com. A product brochure given to a co-worker, or a text message to somebody you haven\’t seen for awhile asking if they would be open to reviewing an incredible global opportunity or copying your company business presentation on a dvd and asking your contact if they would take 10 minutes of their time to watch the DVD, Now when they do this, and if they say they are interested, You take them to your website and or our webinar presentations or a live business presentation in you local area, then 3 way (phone call) them into your upline. I am sure there are some real go-getters out there that are thinking, \”I want to full time in 6 months, not a year\” No problem, just take everything and double it. Now you need to approach 4 or 6 people per day to give 18 presentations per month (at least 4 per week) and sign up 6 people per month for a total of 36 people in 6 months. Just use the principles I taught you to break down your big goal into an action plan full of smaller, daily steps. Then share this with every person you bring into the business so they know how to reach their goals. Keep in mind it\’s real important to understand that Network Marketing is like any other industry/profession time and action will increase your skill sets to the point where you will get the results. In the book Outliers, author Malcolm Gladwell says that it takes roughly ten thousand hours of practice to achieve mastery in a field. Gladwell came to this conclusion after studying thousands of successful people from all kinds of industry business and in sports. So how does this apply to you in your Network Marketing career? Follow the plan I have laid out for you and if you don\’t see the results I have stated continue working the plan and improve your skills sets and you will reach your goals and dreams. Now that you have plan to earn full time income with your company all you have to do now is share your plan with your sponsor upline, mentor and make yourself accountable to them that you will follow
Belief that keeps you stuck in your business
A few months ago I had a great amount of feedback on my post about getting UNSTUCK. The predominate question that I had was why do consistently become Stuck in my business? It is the underlying assumption that we don\’t have what we need. It is the idea that we\’re missing something. We need more of everything – you name it, we need it: more time, money, better tools, better energy in our presentations, better websites, a quality working partner, etc…. Without these, we tell ourselves, we can\’t do what we want to do. This perception that there is something missing or we don\’t have what we need to create what we want in our business is the biggest source of unhappiness and dissatisfaction in the business world today. It is also the greatest lie we tell ourselves. It causes us to dream about \”becoming\” something big in our business to reach the top rank, to hold out for doing that one big thing that will explode our business, that is so big that we can\’t see a way to do it, let alone get started. We have fallen in love with the idea of becoming more than we are, and that very belief keeps us stuck were we are. We are on an endless search for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow the millionaire we always wanted to become, all the while not realizing that we are standing on the pot of gold. Many people travel their entire lives on this journey, believing they will find true happiness when they finally get somewhere when, in fact, they are lost right where they are. The reason people find themselves getting stuck is because they don\’t think who they are is enough – enough to coach people how to become successful, enough to become the great Leader, enough to move hundreds and thousands of people on stage, enough to recruit quality people, enough to reach the top rank in their Network Marketing business. This causes us to resist the way things are for the way we want them to be in the future. Before you can create your future, you have to accept the way you are right now. Prospecting to Succeed IN Network Marketing
When I first started in the Network Marketing industry I asked myself \”What was the #1 skill that I needed to develop more than anything else to help me reach my GOALS & DREAMS.\” This question was the starting point to my longevity and success in this great industry. Obviously I was no dummy I knew that if I can prospect and recruit successfully it would make a huge difference in developing a major Global organization. Power of Commitment
One of the consistent questions over the years I continue to get is \”Joe how did you become so successful\” Well this question could be answered in so many ways. What always come to mind is the foundation I started with. Without a strong foundation no matter what it is it will eventually crumble. The foundation was built with my attitude that I was 100%+ ALL IN!!!!! I was totally committed to my dreams. I promised myself that I would never allow myself to think about quitting.
