This is a major clue!!!!

One of the defining moments in my network marketing career is when I realized that the size of my income is directly related to my own personal growth. This awareness made a huge difference in my life. It allowed me to take full responsibility for my success. Awareness is always the first step to change. This is what I noticed as I went into the living rooms of my prospects and distributors. As I went into the low income households, I noticed that all I saw were copies of the National Enquirer and other similar magazines. When I went in to a medium income household I found a few books (usually by the toilet!) with a glossy gossip magazine in the family room. Then when I went into the higher income homes I started to see these people had library\’s of non fiction books. So what does this mean to you? I call this a very big clue! All great leaders are readers. You will never grow spiritually, emotionally or financially by watching TV news and reading the tabloids. Remember there are only two things you can do with your brainpower as it relates to time. You can either spend it, or invest it. Time spent (wasted) is gone forever. Investment in the form of learning creates a lifetime of payoff not only in knowledge, but in income as well. Decide right now that you are going to invest your greatest asset, which is your time, in learning and studying things that will bring you closer to your desires. 3rd party follow up

3rd Party Follow Up – Recruiting like a Pro Typically a prospect for your Network Marketing business will look at your business at least 4 or 5 times before they are ready to make a decision. Therefore it is important that you understand the single biggest weapon in the recruiting process is 3rd Party Follow up. 3rd Party follow up and validation, It\’s a subtle, but powerful element of your Business. Psychologists call this element social proof. What it means is that people are more likely to do something if other people are doing it too. The more testimonials your prospects hear and the more 3rd party tools of your business they see, the more likely they are going to say \”yes.\” TOOLS such as ….. Webinars Company publications Network Marketing Publications 3-way calls Product – Business Testimonials Events Local business presentations Websites – Training websites Marketing STRATEGIES Product Demos Home/office presentation DVD Presentation A Call from your upline business partners Branding sites – Your own or upline Youtube channel Branding info (anything that adds to the credibility of you or your business partners) i.e – Photos or videos of Company trip promos, photos – videos of your or business partners lifestyle videos of conventions etc….. Using third party is a simple thing to do. When someone has been presented the business, the next thing you want to do is introduce them to others doing the business. After they see your main tool that you use to show the business i.e website, recruiting video etc.., the next step is to do a 3-way with one of your upline business partners or even sideline if needed. With new or relatively new distributors one of the main purposes I use 3 way calls is as a teaching strategy. Network Marketing is a show and tell business the more you work with your new distributors in this way you are teaching them what to do and what not to do. It is important to understand that in prospecting speed is very important to always follow up no later then 24 hours after your prospect is presented the business or get\’s the 1st look of the business. In most cases don\’t tell your prospect that you will be introducing them to a business partner when you book a time to get back to them. Obviously there are some prospects that they would get very excited about the opportunity to speak with a successful business person, you would have to gauge this, if they show incredible amount of enthusiasm after the 1st look then this would be a good opportunity to let them know. The proper way to do a 3-way call to most can be commonsense, however, most 3-ways are not done properly. Here\’s what should happen in a 3-way. Step 1) Distributor calls prospect with upline business partner Step 2) Prospect answers and Distributor introduces themselves and asks if they have a minute (this is critical, they may be in the middle of something, if they don\’t set up another time with them) Step 3) Distributor edifies the upline like \’Bob I would like to introduce you to my business partner she is extremely successful in _______ and does business all over the world.\'(Always discuss with your upline business partners how they want to edified. The purpose of edification it builds the credibility of that person with your prospect. The prospect immediately thinks they are talking to an expert. Make sure you do not miss this step if you do the call I guarantee won\’t in most cases go as well. Step 4) Upline tells their story and background ( again this is critical remember stories tell facts don\’t). Upline takes care of their questions & tells more stories about product, company etc.. Step 5) Upline asks for close. Another great way to use a 3rd party call is too have one of your upline leaders call your prospect by themselves. In our organization we use this strategy very effectively, particularly in cases of mature distributors & Leaders who are prospecting quality successful entrepreneurs. In local business briefings, take your guest around and introduce them to successful leaders in the room and or distributors that your prospect will relate too. Have your prospect tap into a webinars/conference call so they can hear the successful testimonials. (Please note to my surprise many in the industry are still not using Testimonials on their business presentation Webinars/conferences, the FACTS don\’t SELL, it is the STORIES – it is a huge error in judgement when you are not using 3rd party on these presentations) Again if you are not doing this you are missing one of the best tools to close a prospect. Even if someone wants to get started, then immediately connect them with others who are in the business. The first 30 days are critical for a new distributor, help their belief by introducing them over the 30 days by as many of your upline leaders as possible. Just this simple technique done repeatedly can spark an individual to Greatness. When you watch the professionals in Network Marketing, they are constantly introducing people to others. Even at major events, they are introducing their leaders to other leaders. The third party validation happens throughout the entire life of your business. Follow-up is a critical factor in your business. Too many times, people get someone to the website or go to a meeting and they never contact them again. It\’s responsible. It\’s professional. It\’s accountable. It\’s critical. The fortune is in the follow-up particularly when it is done with SPEED. Remember that. If you are contacting a lot of people, but you are not getting results, it\’s probably because of your poor follow-up. Remember all you need to do is invite the person to hear from other people through the many tools you have available to you in your business. The third party follow up will explode your business! \”Never, never give up and never give

Money Consciousness

One of the major leadership issues that I see in the NM industry is Leaders when they start making a lot of money they tend to not put much time into their personal development they literally stop growing. Due to the fact they believe they have hit the big time…. I will tell you this is a major error in judgement. No one\’s immune from the chilling effects that things \”out there\” can have on the mind – things like the economy, the government, the stock market, the news, friends, family, co-workers… They never go away. For Example Recently I read an article on Oprah Winfrey that to my surprise with all the success and money she has earned that she almost had a nervous breakdown from the stress of taking on the CEO role, something she hadn\’t planned on and, in fact, resisted. She talked about how hard it was to constantly read or hear the media describe OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) as \”struggling.\” She said — \”Every time I opened a paper, there was that word – struggling. Not a word I like to have associated with my name, nor a space that I really choose to be in personally, emotionally or spiritually…. So really, inside myself became the desire to literally change the narrative – more important than anything was to change the narrative.\” Imagine that – a billionaire working on her mindset! Yep, even after all the years of abundant success, fame and money, she still has to focus on transformation because, as she said, \”You can\’t let the outside world – be it your mother, sister, cousin, friends, whomever, and for me, the media – define the space that you\’re in. You\’ve got to do that for yourself.\” So if you are in a place where your organization is exploding, you are making the money that you should just sail on and coast, think again. This is where you need to be like Oprah work harder on yourself, lead by example You have to stay vigilantly conscious and aware of the negative seeds that are planting in your mindset and show your team and your family that you continue to seek personal growth, continue to get better, and when you do so you will have a flourishing business for years to come. Inspiration where does it come from!!!

Traveling the Globe, working in the trenches for many years now, helping hundreds of thousands of people around the world, you name me the experience I most likely have gone through it. These experiences have given me a very unique clarity, on many of the principles of the Laws of the Universe and particularly the LAWS of developing a long term residual income in Network Marketing. I have been blessed to see things so clearly that it has enabled me to be a better Father, Husband, Coach, Business Person, better all around human being. This type of clarity and where it comes from reminds me the story of Fred Smith the Founder of Federal Express and the incredible amount of struggles he had in the beginning. He had such a hard time getting enough cash flow to make payroll that at one point he \”raided the family\’s trust fund without his sister\’s permission.\” (He was sued for that.) For a while, he met payroll by borrowing money from a bank in Chicago that kept him going until one day they refused – \”That\’s it, Fred. Sorry.\” This is where the story gets rather astonishing. After being turned down, he was headed back to Memphis with a heavy heart, knowing he would have to tell his employees he couldn\’t pay them. Standing in O\’Hare airport, he \”noticed\” a departure for Las Vegas. He took the company\’s last $5,000, jumped on that plane, and, well, the rest is history. Needless to say, they made payroll and are still here delivering packages to my door. What happened that day in the airport? And whatever \”it\” is, wouldn\’t you like to have it, too? I certainly did many years ago until the experiences I have mentioned above gave me the clarity of this question, you see I have come to realize when you really have a 100% detailed focus on your DREAM where you can \”Taste it\”, \”Feel It\”, \”Love it\” where distractions are stomped on, their is a clarity or knowing that your DREAM is just a matter of time. Where do you get that knowing – build enough reasons why you want that why? Most importantly believe in your heart that inside of us is a higher self connected to everything that is, religions of this world have called it the Holy Spirit, The God Center, Universal intelligence, etc… When you truly build an understanding and awareness of this power you have you will become unstoppable. Now go after that DREAM by creating action, like I have done everyday of my business life, which will bring you similar experiences that I have had, which will give you the same type of life changing inspiration that Fred Smith had that day from his higher self. How to Close Prospects

One of the things that I have observed over the years in my journey to be a Professional Network Marketer and successful business person is when you ask the right questions you will get the right answers. Particularly when you talking to a prospect. Keep in mind the average prospect will look at the business 4 to 6 times before they are ready to get started. So it is real important to have a Prospecting plan for your Prospects. Always show your Prospects some new tool, new presentation, that was different then the previous time you showed them the business. I personally like to find out the pain of a Prospect and this is what I will typically focus on in my communication with them. For example; What in your life would you like to change or have more of or less of? This question is so powerful it allows you to understand what their \”Hot Point\” is in life. Now you can focus on sharing your business based on their answer on how your business can provide solutions. The next step you need to get to the point where you are helping them get to making a decision. So for example let\’s say when you asked the question above – What would you like more of in our Life?, Answer – I don\’t get enough recognition in my job or I am not happy, it\’s seems I am stuck not giving any value in my life. What you want to do next is paint them a picture of what the business can do for them. You know Sue I think you would be perfect for this business I can see you travel the world being on stages helping women just like you to breakthrough and the recognition you will get for this will be so fulfilling. This may be a good time to share a story of a leader that she can relate too based on what she wants more of. Now it is time to start going for the close! Here are some questions that I would recommend…. What is it that you liked so far about what you have seen? Can you see yourself make money with _______ and having all this great recognition for being a great coach and mentor to hundreds and thousands? You see you want to ask questions that will lead you to know what your prospect is thinking! Now pay attention closely when you have asked the right questions and you feel your prospect has seen the big picture of your biz here is the most important question you should always ask!!! \”Sue do you have enough information to get started?\” This question is really a difference maker, if they are not ready then you would ask them What other information do you need to help you get started? Over the years I have seen many people who do a great job taking the prospect through a number of exposures but they do not ask for the close. What typically happens when you do not ask the question – you have a prospect who you don\’t know if they are a yes or a no, they are in Purgatory. ASK FOR THE CLOSE AND TEACH YOUR DISTRIBUTORS TO ASK FOR THE CLOSE AND YOUR BUSINESS WILL GROW!! \”A WINNER MAY NOT BE MORE AMBITIOUS THAN A LOSER, BUT HE OR SHE IS AMBITIOUS LONGER.\” P.S. Getting UNSTUCK

Recently I had a conversation with one of my Global Leaders regarding her feeling stuck in the business and her life. She went on to tell me that she feels that she is taking 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. I am sure most of you can relate to this feeling of being stuck. I want to help you understand why so many of you feel stuck and like you are struggling… Many of us are stuck due to the fact you cannot see past your limitations. When we live in the bottom of our limitations we believe that what we see is real and we become trapped by an awareness of lack and struggle. AND because we are surrounded by many other people who are also trapped by their limitations, our beliefs and the beliefs we are surrounded with are also limited… It becomes really difficult to believe in the possibility of freedom when all you are focused on is your limitations. And when all you can see from your limited vision is restriction and limitation, you live in a state of survival and that\’s when you get stuck. Now, here is the good news, you can get out of being stuck by expanding your awareness. The key to staying unstuck is to permanently change your beliefs. And you can do this consciously and deliberately. [You can take back your power.] You can free yourself from the limitations and start to remove your limitations! It all begins with awareness. Start by becoming conscious of who you are listening too. Are you listening to people who are living in struggle and effort people who are stuck like you? Pay attention and your consciousness will begin to shift immediately. Lastly go back to the basics with regards to your Personal Development, read 30 to 60 minutes a day, go back to some of the books that resonated with you in the past and study them. It\’s amazing what happens when you reach this awareness, of looking at changing some of your beliefs with regards to Limitations, and replace them with Prosperity and Abundance beliefs. Furthermore just a reminder to stop listening to the wrong people, your path to whatever you want in life will soon come to you very quickly. To your great blessings, Joe Garcia

Failure is not an option!!!

The other day a prospect had asked me why have I been so successful with my Network Marketing Global business. I quickly thought about it & replied \’when I started I decided that failure was not an option\’. I made a commitment that I was going to succeed. “Resolution is the directing and impelling force in individual progress. Without it no substantial work can be accomplished.” – Above Life\’s Turmoil The esteemed philosopher Goethe wrote, \”Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness.\” There are so many people who have joined my business & have quit, that could have made their lives better if only they made the decision (resolution) to pursue the business like I have. Whether it’s fear, doubt or some other insecurity that holds us back, these missed opportunities keep us from living the life of our dreams. I see too many good talented people in our industry make decisions that continue to hurt them year after year. Sure they have some good \”runs\” make some money but they always seem to be rebuilding a new business. Why is that? It\’s start with the basic idea of what I am sharing with you in this post. In 711 a North African warrior, whose army was backed up to the Mediterranean Sea, gave the unthinkable order to his men to \”burn your boats,\” thus taking away his army’s only means of escape. Faced with certain death unless they were victorious, his army routed their opponents even though they were outnumbered five to one. When we are likewise resolved, we too can conquer all the obstacles in our path. Don\’t worry about \”how-to-do-it.\” One of my early mistakes was trying to figure out how I was going to do something before I\’d get committed to do it. Now I think about all of the great inventions of our time, and I wonder if we’d have any of them if the inventor had waited to make his commitment until he knew how he was going to do it. Making the decision (the resolution) to do it is the most important part of any undertaking. As W.H. Murray wrote, “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!” If you don’t feel like you have enough information to make a decision, then by all means, get the information. But don’t put off getting the information as a means to put off making the decision. And don’t think you have to have ALL the information that’s available — you only need ENOUGH to fully evaluate and decide. “Paralysis by analysis” has killed many a dream. Any decision is almost always better than no decision as it puts into play some powerful forces. As Goethe also told us, “Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one\’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.” Make a decision today that Failure is not an option and a foundation of long lasting success will follow you. \”My greatest asset and why I am where I am today is my tenacity to persist until I succeed\” Joe Garcia \”The moment you are ready to quit is usually the moment right before the miracle happens. Why are so many of us struggling?

Why are so many of us struggling? Because we have forgotten WHO WE ARE. Who we are is our True Self that is always connected and one with Source Energy (God). On the other hand, who we THINK we are is how we show up in life.  If we are struggling we will never be who we are.   Let that sink in for a moment. Who we THINK we are comes from listening to other people rather than listening to ourselves.  Earlier on in my career before I truly considered myself as a leader, I believed what others told me to believe.   I learned early that what other people think of me is more important that what I think of myself.   At least this is what I thought. Living on purpose and working towards your goals and dreams is about focusing on WHO YOU ARE and what you can do in this moment.   It is not about who you are not, what you cannot do, and what you don\’t have. WHO YOU ARE is everything. It is the ONLY thing that really matters because everything hinges on your ability to be yourself and to do that you must become intimately aware of the false beliefs you have about yourself and about the way life works. When you live focused on your dreams and goals You are connected with Source Energy you know you already have what you need.    People who live this way are more than just positive thinkers – they are attraction in action. They accept life is not always easy and doesn\’t always follow a straight and convenient path.   They let life unfold through them instead of putting their life into a box of expectations. Your greatness is not dependent upon anything you accomplish. You don\’t need to prove anything to anyone – even yourself.   I am here to tell you one thing – you and everyone that comes in contact with you are already great.   To live your greatness, you must know WHO YOU ARE and you must do what you can do in THIS MOMENT.   Nothing else is required.   When you come to this awareness you will be unstoppable.   Your friend and biz partner, Joe Garcia

FREEDOM

I have been fortunate to travel the world now over 50 countries, which has helped me to get to an awareness/conscious level that I am very grateful for. No matter what city/country I have visited HUMAN BEINGS want the same thing – FREEDOM!!!! Let me explain what the definition of FREEDOM is for most…….. In the United States of America, Canada and through-out the world lies a large industrial city which is the site of one of the world\’s largest slave labor camps. Located in and around the center of this city are community settlements where the slaves live. Each morning the slaves move herd-like from their quarters into the slave labor camps. Each one is at his or her station by 7:30 AM – 900 a.m . Here they report to their master for the day\’s duties. And here they remain chained until at least 5:00 PM when they\’re released to go home. The slaves have no choice as to how many hours they must labor. Sometimes they are required to work overtime until their master tells them they may leave and go home. Each year the slaves are told when to take their vacations, for how long, and when they must return. They have little choice as to how much money they earn as they are paid not what they are worth, but what the job is worth. They are allowed very little time for lunch and coffee breaks during the labor hours. The slaves will remain in their chains in great fear because the master can punish them with the \”firing\” or \”layoff\” whip. It is said that even some of the older slaves who have been good and faithful have felt the sting of the whip. Day by day, year-by-year, the slaves toil and grow older until the master decides it is time to release them to the retirement camps where they\’re forced to sit idle and wait for death. It\’s a well-known fact that the old slaves who try to keep working are sometimes whipped with a \”stop-their-pension\” whip. I know these slave camps exist for I once was a slave. But now I am a free man who lives among the slaves. The reason I am free is because I am in business for myself as a Network Marketer – Global business man. Yes, I am truly free. I arise in the morning at the hour called for by my schedule. I decide my own hours. I can even sleep in late while the slaves are at work. I can vacation when, where, and for how long I please. I\’m free to take my coffee break and lunch when I decide. And of course, I can decide my own paycheck because I am not a slave. I can choose to work when and where I please and with whom I please. I\’m free to stay in the city for as long as I want, or to move on to greener pastures if I decide to. I\’ve seen many slaves sadly pack their belongings to leave their city in search of a new master, but it is always the same. There is, however, a ray of hope for the slave. He or she can buy their own freedom. The cost is not high, yet it seems high to those who do not have the courage to pay the price. What is the price? ONE MUST BE WILLING TO BE ONE’S OWN MASTER! Live Your Freedom and reach for your Goals in this great industry of Network Marketing/Direct sales. Many years ago I had a defining moment when I was a \”slave\” managing a Multi million dollar Fitness/Racquet Facility when the owners one day told me they were selling and the next day it was sold. Thank God this forced me to look at my future and right there and then I made a decision to have this freedom, without the decision I would not have the freedom I am enjoying now, have you really made that decision? The power behind this decision that you shall \” persist until you succeed\” is ultimately why you will succeed and be FREE!!!!!! Why my business once again collapsed?

Joanne was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug in her late 20’s, she dreamed of a lifestyle that was so opposite to her upbringing. After a few years she realized she was in the wrong business, her life was not what she expected it to be. One day she engaged in a conversation with a middle aged women while shopping this chance meeting turned out to be a defining moment for her. This woman was so enthusiastic that all she could hear was the “music” she was sharing. This music stirred up so much emotion inside her that every part of her body was on high alert status. Frankly the business she was sharing was too good to be true. You see Joanne was a franchise owner who bought into the entrepreneurial dream however, she was tired of the long hours, lack of freedom, employee headaches etc…. All she could understand from this brief introduction was when she shared this line “you can make a lot of money while you sleep.” This is what she was lacking in her life “FREEDOM” and therefore this subsequently became her DREAM!!! After doing her research on the industry, attending events, meeting with top earners. Joanne made a decision that she was going to join a Network Marketing company and create a residual income that would provide her the Lifestyle Freedom she desperately wanted which consisted of more quality time with her family, the ability to at a moments notice jump on a plane and travel to an exotic location even if it was just for a few days, purchase a winter home in Maui, Hawaii overlooking the Pacific Ocean where she could continue to work her business. 10 years later Joanne is forced to look back at her career in Network Marketing due to the fact she had recently in the last 18 months joined a company (her 5th in 10 years) that showed promised however, her organization once again died. Even though she had achieved some success financially and been able to support her family she was no-where close to that residual income DREAM. Joanne after this collapse of her business once again went for a long walk in the woods. This collapse of her business had been a pattern with her previous 4 companies, she would build it up due to her great recruiting skills create great organizational volume and then it would fall apart 1 to 2 years later. She would always blame the company, it was something the company always did that destroyed her business which made it easy for her to look for another opportunity. About a mile in the woods Joanne bumped into a women named Lacy who was resting on a bench apparently after a long jog. Joanne decided to engage in conversation with her she needed someone to talk too even if it was a stranger. After a bunch of small talk Joanne asked her what she did for a living, to her surprise Lacy shared with her that she was a Network Marketing Professional for the last 10 years and when on to share with her why she joined Network Marketing. Joanne immediately was enthralled because Lacy and her had something in common they joined for the same reason the residual income DREAM! To Joanne’s surprise Lacy’s story was completely different than hers. Lacy had shared with her that she struggled for 5 years, she had to rebuild several times in the 5 years but stayed with the company she joined even though new opportunities were enticing, she recognized she had to take personal responsibility for her failures (first rule of great leadership). Lacy continued to share with her the defining moment in her business, when one of her closest friends and front line business partner hit her with comments that shook her foundation which was shared to her by an industry leader. Maybe the reason why we have had to rebuild several times over the years is because we broke many leadership rules like the following – “Time will either Promote you or expose you” especially in Leadership (2nd rule of Leadership). Her friend went on to share with her instances in their business where they did not follow through with what they said they would do especially when times got tough which ended up disappointing some of their team leaders at the time and subsequently they quit because they no longer believed in their leadership. Furthermore, her friend continued to share other details of the conversation with this Network Marketing Leader regarding recognition. Do you remember the times we were so focused on our personal recognition and getting to the next rank that some of our leaders became upset (3rd rule of leadership – the focus should never be about you as a leader your focus should always be about helping people reach their goals and next ranks) This focus led to more leaders leaving the business because they felt alienated, confused, not supported etc… Bottom line it’s was always about Lacy… Joanne started to become very uncomfortable as she recognized moments in her business that according to Lacy were huge Leadership errors that led to her rebuilding over and over again. By the end of the conversation Lacy shared with her what transpired after this defining moment in her business, she realized she needed to start from scratch and work harder on herself on a daily basis (4th rule of Leadership – your income will be directly tied to how much you grow as a person). Lacy went on to state that her business started to thrive when she bought into these very important Leadership truths . More importantly she shared with Joanne what Lacy emphatically felt was the most important of all Leadership rules was Leading by example (5th rule of leadership – the speed of the team will always be based on the speed of the Leader. The most respected leaders are the ones that are qualifying for all
