SO YOU JUST SIGNED UP WITH YOUR COMPANY OR YOU HAVE BEEN A DISTRIBUTOR FOR AWHILE YOUR GOAL IS TOO EARN A FULL-TIME INCOME OVER THE NEXT YEAR LETS JUST SAY IT IS APPROX $5000 A MNTH GREAT GOAL! HOW DO YOU DO IT? IT IS VERY TOUGH TO GET A HANDLE OF WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE EARNING $5000 PER MONTH, WITH A DOWNLINE OF 200 – 300 PEOPLE WHEN YOU ARE BRAND NEW WITH A DOWNLINE OF ZERO AND NOT EVEN ONE PROSPECT YET. SO LETS BREAK IT DOWN AND FIND OUT WHAT IT MEANS TO BECOME A GREAT SPONSOR. FIRST, WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS FIGURE OUT HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD YOU NEED TO SPONSOR PERSONALLY.  LET ME HELP YOU OUT WITH THIS, FROM MY EXPERIENCE YOU PROBABLY WOULD NEED TO SPONSOR AT LEAST 36 PEOPLE (200 in your organization). December Success…..

As I write this I am Heading back home  3 countries 10 day trip building Dreams… The last couple of days has been really busy for me after the Sweden event 25 + prospect appts in 2 days and it reminded me of some of my personal experiences – As I look back December has been some of my greatest recruiting months …. December really does set the tone for January and that sets the tone for the first quarter… and the year. Prospects and possibilities are never more aware and more frustrated with their time and money available in December. We with our incredible Network Marketing/Direct sales business model  are offering more time and money. This is what we sell.  The industry has never been positioned like it is now globally it is becoming self evident…. Want an incredible year next year it starts now… You do it and don’t listen to the nonsense of all the others who have “gone to sleep with no action” and, above all … I have Never, Never, Never … Ever, listened to a prospect about driving my business. Our peers in the industry who’ve basically are slowing down their business in December and are becoming inactive  want you to join them so they don’t feel guilty … think about it!  They have bought into the premise that everyone is focused on the holidays and they have no time to think about a new business… So, you know how to close in December … but how do you get them to the table? When a prospect gives me the Christmas Holiday objection I come back with this 1- You know Sandra successful people make decisions opposite to what the majority of the world do . Majority of the world the masses will be complaining in January that they don’t have the money to pay off their credit card , they will take till late January early February just to get things going Where as there is a small percentage of people who really turn out to be the successful ones they start now start to built the momentum during the holidays and when January comes they are starting 2018 with momentum with a Big Bang Which person do you want to be ??? The prospects who engage with you now and choose the top achiever mentality  you definitely know that you have a great potential leader …… So just in review enjoy the holidays stay consistent with your business and prospecting and you will have a flourishing start to next year and well ahead of your peers…. What we REALLY SELL!!!!

There are some of you who sell the Product because you are very passionate about your product, there are some of you who sell the Lifestyle because you are focused on the material good things in life, there are some of you who sell yourself, branding yourself, making yourself attractive to others so they can join you, there are some of you who focus on selling the Business Opportunity like a crusader helping families earn extra income… Keeping this in mind you can really build a nice business and even a nice career focusing on these aspects of the business.  This was what I was doing until one day I  realized, it was a defining moment for me, what I was really selling was FREEDOM.  This is what separated my Network Marketing/Direct Sales business to all the other business and industries in the world.  This was my/our unique selling proposition. No matter where I travel around the world Russia, China, Italy, Sweden, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Mexico etc… (I have travelled to over 50 countries building my Global Business so I have plenty of experience and feedback on what people want )  people all around the world want one thing more than anything else they want enough money where they don\’t have to worry about money again so they can travel anytime they want, help their kids, not worrying about paying the bills this is what FREEDOM means to most people.. When I started to focus on FREEDOM and how our business can give this to them and their FAMILY my recruiting numbers went through the roof and so did my Global organization.   FREEDOM is what the world desperately wants and needs this is our difference maker what separates us from all the other industries……… My Freedom is what I am so grateful for and what my Network Marketing business has given me for 24 years.   Today I went to the gym during the typical work day where everyone else is at work I basically had the gym all to myself and this motivated me to share this post today.   I am blessed and you can be too….

Reciprocity

In 1996 I was in Mexico my first time traveling outside of Canada and the USA for business.  I was a relatively new entrepreneur, I was sitting in an outdoor cafe and noticed a little 2 year girl (same age as my daughter at that time) holding her baby brother asking all the tourists for money. I could not believe that she was totally being ignored, 2 beautiful babies not even any eye contact.  Tears started to flow down my face as I was watching her 1 by 1 being totally ignored…   Eventually she came to me I wanted to hug both of them I felt her pain even at 2 years old she was being rejected over and over again and somehow knew that what she was doing was not normal begging for money… In a moment of pure empathy, sympathy, Love, chaos what ever I was feeling it was not good I put my hands into my pocket and gave her money.   Immediately she ran and I did not take my eyes off of them.  In a split second she stopped like she knew my eyes were glued on to them.   We locked eyes for about 10 seconds and I felt her Gratefulness, I felt Love. and then they disappeared around the corner…   A Few minutes later I realized that I gave her all the money I had for the trip, as I went to pay for my coffee and pastry, in 1996 ATMS in Mexico were not a common place and very few places took credit cards.   Anyways I made it through that week, and a month later I had my greatest earning month ever, tripling my best months income up until then….   Lots of lessons were taught to me by the little 2 year old girl.  What can you learn from the story that can help you explode your business….? Courage!!!!

The other day I had a distributor come to me and poured her heart on the struggles she was having.  Not only in her business but in life.  She had according to her struggled with enthusiasm for anything, had a hard time getting started with her day, had a hard time making prospecting calls, More importantly she had a hard time believing in herself, believing in her dream, believing that she was worth it . After several minutes of this, she had basically confirmed that she had a lot of fear, it was holding her back, and it\’s been going on for a long time. She went on to tell me she had a tough time asserting herself and that the people around her weren\’t supportive of her goals and dreams. I\’m sure you\’ve felt like this one time in your life and maybe even now. We talked for about 15 minutes and I shared a little bit about the people who I have mentored and worked with over the years who have encountered the same challenges that she was going through.  I also shared with her unfortunately the people who love you the most don’t necessarily support you in the achievement of your goals, this is definitely not uncommon particularly in our industry of Network Marketing. Then I specifically talked about one of our million dollar earners  who encountered great difficulty with her family when she got started.  Everyone in her family thought she was crazy to pursue her dreams. Like her she did not get the support even though her family loved her but they didn\’t know if she ever make it, so they were just protecting her from failure. In her first year in business it was a major struggle stopping and starting, wondering if her family was right, my whole focus with her was to really come with her from every angle using all the tools available to helping her believe in herself.   Exposing her to personal development material that would help her, making sure she was attending the company events, conference calls – webinars, and training’s, basically making sure she was “plugged in” fully. Many people on the outside don\’t realize what an entrepreneur really goes through to make his or her mark in this world.  All they see is the success a person standing on stage accepting an award, the person who they may think they just had the magic touch or were just lucky. They see the success, but they don\’t see the struggle, the times of lack of belief, the days that they did not want to get up from bed, the times that rejection was all they heard, the days that people closest to them saw the suffering in quiet desperation and told them it was not worth it, the times they had to rebuild over and over again until the team started to grow exponentially. By this time this distributor was intrigued she started to really get focused, We were at the end of our conversation and she asked me, \”Joe, how did she do it, how did she keep going?\” I thought for a second and then I gave her my answer.   COURAGE.   Yes.   COURAGE.   You can never give up.   You can never stop fighting for what you want in your heart.   You can never listen to naysayers.   YOU have to have the COURAGE to live your dreams.   It takes COURAGE.   The REWARD goes to those to take the RISK and keep moving forward.   You and I both know YOU have it inside of you to create a masterpiece with your life in Network Marketing.   You just might need to have a little more courage, right?   Listen, I have fear also. Everybody does.   The game is having the COURAGE to go through it.   The Courage to make the commitment that you will never quit, never think about quitting.   The Courage to do what it takes all the time, each and every day.   When I received an email from her last night, she thanked me for reminding her that what she needed was a little bit more COURAGE.   She needed to BELIEVE in herself just a little bit more. She needed to work on her self more with more personal self development. She needed to understand you do not attract what you want, you attract who you are. She needed to commit a little bit more, and she needed to go “all in” to the business. You\’re going to accomplish great things. It might not be easy, but with courage, perseverance and knowledge, you will do amazing things, won\’t you? One of my favourite quotes by the Great Og Mandino really puts it into perspective “Mediocrity is easy. Achieving greatness takes different skills which require courage.” Commit to take one ACTION today with your business that will move YOU closer to your dreams. Commit to be an inspiration to your team to your family. Be a difference maker in this great industry of Network Marketing Do it now. When You fall in LOVE with your DREAM it becomes Greater than your Fears thus you can accomplish anything.

Action

I consistently get approached with questions asking for network marketing advice.  People ask if they should try a certain strategy old school – new school, how certain leaders become successful, how to build globally, what type of presentation generates the best results, if they should go to that Generic NM event,  questions about their website, what I thought about their company etc… I had someone in my team recently design a plan which took him 3 months to complete to get to the top rank in the company. And who are most of these callers? Well many (but not all) fall into one category. They are people who spend time investigating, analyzing, and looking for an easy, cheap way to become an overnight success. They find it easier and safer to stay in a state of continuous investigation to avoid actually doing something to build their business. My advice to many of these callers: Go out and actually do something. Maybe even make your first prospecting presentation. Even if you make 20 more calls investigating network marketing theories, nothing will happen. Okay, I’am not very popular with some of these callers, but I do feel I should at least tell them the truth. What about you? Do you have distributors who do everything except contact prospects? Are they always putting together a new brochure or presentation that will fix all the problems of network marketing? Are they so busy with “busy work” that they don’t have time to recruit? Do they spend hours every day sending e-mails back and forth to people they have never met, and spending too much time on the social sites like facebook with no marketing strategy? Do they focus their time pretending to build relationships with the 800 nameless people they have captured in their autoresponder? What are you going to tell them? Are you going to say: “Nice brochure. You are really accomplishing a lot.” Or, are you going to tell them the truth? Will you say: Go out and actually do something that will build your business. Make a phone call. Meet a live person. Make a presentation. Sign up a new distributor. Can you imagine what your life could look like if you and your team followed this advice?  All these years later that is the one thing that I have done well I consistently acted every single day on my DREAMS.   This is why I have consistently achieved my DREAMS>>> Since you read this entire sponsoring tip, here’s a bonus “Advanced Leadership Tip:” Remember the Pygmalion Effect. The Championship LIFE can be YOURS!!!!

In my Network Marketing career it has led me to travel the world to more than 50 countries, meeting tens of thousands of interesting people, it has open my world to incredible personal development studying Great Teachers like Bob Proctor, Robert Anthony, Anthony Robbins, and  the Iconic Teachings of Jesus, Budda etc..  More importantly though it has crafted my Philosophy of life,  Philosophy of getting Results/Success.  Which is a great segway to this months blog, what is really the difference maker to your success in your business, to your life?  I really believe it comes down to your Energy Level!!!! The higher you vibrate with your energy level (I am not talking about rah rah, I am talking about focusing on what you want, be happy, be respectful, think great thoughts, this raises your energy to the point where you make more money, this is what essentially falling in Love with your DREAM is all about) Money will flow to you easily and effortlessly. But how do you go about raising your energy? In the graph below – 0% represents no energy and 100% represents maximum energy. 0%—————–25%————–50%————–100% If someone is at 0% energy, then they are dead not growing. Unfortunately, many people are living  just above 0% energy.   How many Prospects have you talked to in the past that fit this level and that you are continuing to chase hoping they will join you in your business? At the other end of the graph, 100% represents the highest positive energy available.  As you move up the scale, you will have more of the good things in life because you are vibrating and evolving at a higher level and this only happens by 1 – Being ALL IN 100% Focus then determining what you want/crafting your Dream and then falling in LOVE with it, 2 – Surrounding yourself with the right people and 3 – Feeding your mind with greatness on a daily basis which leads to greater thoughts and thus great actions and then it leads to greater results. The higher up you move on the scale, the more easily you will be able to attract great things into your life without it being blocked. Your energy level not only attracts money into your life, it attracts everything else, including other people. If you have a very dense or low level of energy, you are going to manifest that same energy you are projecting.  In other words, you will attract people and relationships into your life that have the same low level, dense energy.  Have you ever seen a depressed and negative person succeed long term. Want more money please read and really pay attention to my words, increase your vibration level you will make more money then you ever thought was possible for yourself.  I look at our million dollar earners and very successful people in other industry\’s, you see a pattern of positive attitudes, positive action, positive emotions and thus positive results. Negative attitudes, confrontational attitudes, fear, jealously, unhappy thoughts etc.. is what the masses focus on and thus the  reason why they are stuck due to their focus,  consequently they are not moving forward and never will attract abundance and prosperity.  Recent research in Brain Science has found now 75% -98% of disease is caused by our Toxic habitual thoughts…  If that does not wake you up you might want to check your pulse…. Stop right here and think about this because it is a key point to opening the flow of money into your life. When you fully  understand this you will see the whole world differently. We can sum it up this way  – if you raise your energy level, you will raise your income in your business I promise you. How can I make that promise? Well in June 23 1993 I walked into a meeting room at the Sheraton Hotel in the east end of Toronto, I watched a very successful man after his training, people gravitated to him in droves,  just looking at him and watching him there was something different about him, these were my exact thoughts that day. When I figured it out, I understood the secret to his success and all I did at the age of 25 I started to do the same,which led me to a life of great success, prosperity and abundance. Leadership Lessons…….

The money that you earn as an individual is directly tied to your personal growth and leadership skills in this great industry of Network Marketing.   Over my past 23 years in this industry I have come across many talented marketers who have been able to build a team and make money  but it always seems to fall apart for them, which has them  consistently in rebuilding mode, usually moving on to the next company.  Why is that?  Well it really in most cases it comes down to their skills as a Leader.    Unfortunately even with this major clue,  their teams consistently falling apart,  they don\’t look at this part of themselves, which is really the key to long term residual income… Master your Leadership skills and it will take you to the Promise Land of long term residual income… So let\’s look at how Eagles can help us in this area… 1. *Eagles fly Alone and at High Altitudes.* They don\’t fly with sparrows, ravens, and other small birds. *MEANING*; Stay away from narrow-minded people the DREAM STEALERS, the constant complainers, the ones that don\’t have goals, those that bring you down/Vampires that suck your energy.  Eagles fly with Eagles.  Surround yourself with the best you will become the best. 2. *Eagles have an Accurate Vision.* They have the ability to focus on something as far as 5km away.  No matter the obstacles, the Eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it. *MEANING*; Fall in Love with your DREAM.  When you do you will  remain focused no matter what the obstacles and you will succeed.  Success will be determine by your ability to Focus on what you want longer than what you don\’t want…. 3. *Eagles do not Eat Dead things. They Feed only on Fresh Prey.* *MEANING*;  No one reads yesterday\’s newspapers – Do not rely on your past success, keep looking to grow yourself every day.  Leave your past where it belongs, in the past.  Your Power to create your future is in the NOW!!!!!  It\’s tough to awaken the dead it\’s much easier to give Birth.  Always focus on new Growth… 4. *Eagles Love the Storm.* When clouds gather, the Eagle gets excited, the Eagle uses the storms wind to lift itself higher.  Once it finds the wind of the storm, the Eagle uses the raging storm to lift itself above the clouds.  This gives the Eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. I n the meantime, all the other birds hide in the branches and leaves of the tree. *MEANING*; Face your challenges head on knowing that these will make you emerge stronger and better than you were. Distractions and Excuses are all equal.  We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid of challenges they are always looking for solutions when challenges arise. 5. *Eagles Prepare for Training;* They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young ones get uncomfortable in preparation for flying and eventually flies/ when it becomes unbearable to stay in the nest./ *MEANING*; Leaders in order  to grow they need to do the things that most people are not willing to do.  Leave your Comfort Zone, there is No Growth there. 6. *When the Eagle Grows Old,* Her feathers become weak and cannot take her as fast and as high as it should. This makes her weak and could make her die.  So she retires to a place far away in the mountains. While there, she plucks out the weak feathers on her body and breaks its beaks and claws against the rocks until she is completely bare; a very bloody and painful process. Then she stays in this hiding place until she has grown new feathers, new beaks and claws and then she comes out flying higher than before. *MEANING*; Leaders Look at their beliefs that hold them back, that do not serve them, the ones that keep them from achieving what they want.  Leaders understand doing their best sometimes may not be good enough this is when they come with the mindset that they need to do  what ever it takes….. 7) Eagles when teaching their young they lead by example and then when ready they fling their young out of the nests to fend for themselves. *MEANING* When building your organization eventually you can not be the only STAR!!  You need to let go and have others take over the presentations, take over the training be the STARS of your organization.   In the meantime you are still leading by example, enrolling new people, treating all distributors no matter what the rank like they are special – keeping in mind building relationships is one of your top values.    Furthermore, always following through with your promises remembering that you lose the trust of your team you will lose that team.   Returning all calls, texts, email, and communication understanding  if one gets in the habit of not responding, its a simple error in Leadership that will destroy faith and trust in you as a leader.   Finally doing everything with integrity, understanding the integrity of the compensation plan is sacred,  eventually the truth comes out and again it will destroy faith and trust in you as a leader….   Faith and trust are the building blocks to a great culture of Leaders duplicating Leaders…… Sending you all Great Success Blessings, Joe Garcia

Who is Whispering in YOUR EAR???

Many years ago I had a defining moment in my NM career which changed everything for me.    It was so clear to me, if I wanted to change personally where I was financially, my lifestyle, my relationships, I needed to do this! I stopped taking financial advice from people that were broke.     I stopped taking advice from people who never build a serious residual income in 1 company for more than 5 years.  I did not care if a person went to the top of 5 different companies in 10 years, I wanted to build a long term walkaway business with 1 company… I stopped getting health tips from unhealthy people.  I stopped taking relationship advice from people with toxic or boring relationships and I stopped looking for spiritual guidance from people that couldn’t demonstrate to me that they were attracting what they were preaching. It sounds pretty simple doesn’t it?  But take a look at how often you take advice from people who don’t walk the talk. How many times have we seen people in our industry get excited when they started their business only to quit a few days later because they spoke to their broke family member who never had any history of success in business.  How many times have we seen so called leaders tell people they have found a home as part of their marketing story and a year later they found another home and then another home or that they have hit the greatest company in the world, greatest compensation plan for the umpteen time…  I follow the rule that “if they don’t SHOW it, they don’t KNOW it” and I learned to stay away from these people like they had the plague particularly when I was trying to establish myself in the industry of Network Marketing.   We certainly have an epidemic in the business world where people are professing that they are the experts, they have learned to brand themselves real well.   I am all for branding yourself it is good marketing strategy, but keep in mind be careful who you are taking advice from. Instead, I found people who had manifested what I desired and ask them for help. These are what we call mentors. It is critical in the business world, particularly in Network Marketing to have a coach/mentor.    When You surround yourself with the best you become the best. Network Marketing Leadership Lessons to long term residual income!!!

Joanne was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug in her late 20’s, she dreamed of a lifestyle that was so opposite to her upbringing.  After a few years she realized she was in the wrong business, her life was not what she expected it to be. One day she engaged in a conversation with a middle aged women while shopping this chance meeting turned out to be a defining moment for her. This woman was so enthusiastic that all she could hear was the “music” she was sharing.  This music stirred up so much emotion inside her that every part of her body was on high alert status. Frankly the business she was sharing was too good to be true. You see Joanne was a franchise owner who bought into the entrepreneurial dream however, she was tired of the long hours, lack of freedom, employee headaches etc…. All she could understand from this brief introduction was when she shared this line “you can make a lot of money while you sleep.” This is what she was lacking in her life “FREEDOM” and therefore this subsequently became her DREAM!!! After doing her research on the industry, attending events, meeting with top earners.  Joanne made a decision that she was going to join a Network Marketing company and create a residual income that would provide her the Lifestyle Freedom she desperately wanted which consisted of more quality time with her family, the ability to at a moments notice jump on a plane and travel to an exotic location even if it was just for a few days, purchase a winter home in Maui, Hawaii overlooking the Pacific Ocean where she could continue to work her business. 10 years later Joanne is forced to look back at her career in Network Marketing due to the fact she had recently in the last 18 months joined a company (her 5th in 10 years) that showed promised however, her organization once again died.  Even though she had achieved some success financially and been able to support her family she was no-where close to that residual income DREAM. Joanne after her recent collapse of her  business, went for a long walk in the woods.  This collapse of her business had been a pattern with her previous 4 companies, she would build it up due to her great recruiting skills create great organizational volume and then it would fall apart 1 to 2 years later. She would always blame the company, it was something the company always did that destroyed her business which made it easy for her to look for another opportunity. About a mile in the woods Joanne bumped into a women named Lacy who was resting on a bench apparently after a long jog.   Joanne decided to engage in conversation with her she needed someone to talk too even if it was a stranger.   After a bunch of small talk Joanne asked her what she did for a living, to her surprise Lacy shared with her that she was a Network Marketing Professional for the last 10 years and when on to share with her why she joined Network Marketing.   Joanne immediately was enthralled because Lacy and her had something in common they joined for the same reason the residual income DREAM! To Joanne’s surprise Lacy’s story was completely different than hers.  Lacy had shared with her that she struggled for 5 years, she had to rebuild several times in the 5 years but stayed with the company she joined even though new opportunities were enticing, she recognized she had to take personal responsibility for her failures (first rule of great leadership). Lacy continued to share with her the defining moment in her business, when one of her closest friends and front line business partner hit her with comments that shook her foundation which was shared to her by an industry leader.   Maybe the reason why we have had to rebuild several times over the years is because we broke many leadership rules like the following –   Great leaders lead by example, they qualify for all promotions, they are recruiting and bringing new teams on, they walk the talk… \”The Speed of the team is always based on the Speed of the Leader…. (2nd rule of Leadership). Her friend  went on to share with her moments in their business where they did not follow through with what they said they would do.  Promises not kept will destroy the trust of the leader and thus destroy the organization ……(3rd rule of Leadership). Furthermore, her friend continued to share other details of the conversation with this Network Marketing Leader regarding the \”Hollywood Stage\”.   There comes a defining moment in leadership that Leaders start to believe they are better than everyone else due to the fact they are making more money than most.  When one stops returning calls, text messages, etc. this seed starts to permeate through the organization that will eventually be the downfall  of that  organization.  Always treat your distributors/customers no matter their rank, importance in the organization as the most special person in the world to you (4th rule of Leadership) Joanne started to become very uncomfortable as she recognized moments in her business that according to Lacy were huge Leadership errors that led to her rebuilding over and over again.  By the end of the conversation Lacy shared with her what transpired after this defining moment in her business, she realized she needed to start from scratch and work harder on herself on a daily basis (5th rule of Leadership – your income will be directly tied to how much you grow as a person). Lacy went on to state that her business started to thrive when she bought into these very important Leadership truths .
