MARKETING STRATEGY OBJECTION – I CAN\’T AFFORD IT!!
The #1 thing that the World all has in common since the Pandemic has been inflation, we are not immune to the business challenges of the world that inflation has caused. From a Network Marketing Distributor point of view it could mean that they may be getting more objections on potential customers sharing they can\’t afford to buy a product or products or join the business. Well a strategy that I have used very effectively for years is when I get this type of objection, I then ask them in return \”I can show you a way where you get the product for free and or reduce the cost of the product drastically, would you be open to me showing you how to do this?\” By asking this question I #1 find out very quickly the person is really not interested in the product and they are just giving me an objection that is really not the truth. #2 or they are telling me the truth and they are really interested in buying the product So the next step is you take them through the process and I will say something like \”Have you ever watched a movie and you loved it so much that you shared it with a friend and because of your recommendation they went to see the movie. Well it works the same way here in NHT Global but unlike that movie theatre or producers of the movie, NHT Global will send us money when we refer people to the products…. I am sure you know a lot of people who are business minded, entrepreneurial and or people who feel health is very important to them. I will help you share the product and or business with them through our strategies and marketing tools and when they enrol as a customer and or a business distributor you will earn money for that referral, which you can use to purchase the product. Do you have any questions on this or are you ready to get started with this plan…?\” It is as simple as this… Keep in mind this person\’s warm market now becomes your warm market. We always will get better results in working warm markets than a cold market because of the relationships… When you have people ready to get started with the product and or as a distributor then you go back to the person and say \”these people are ready to get enrolled its time that we enrol you so you can starting earning money on these referrals.\” You will be amazed at What happens during this process because of the fear of loss in most cases these people will find a way to get the money for their first product order knowing full well they will receive money from their referrals and potential for more in the future… Sending you lots of great energy with this strategy…. 2024 tips to making it a Great Year!!!
One thing that most all human beings want starting today January 1 is a better year than the previous year especially in the financial department. There is a exercise that I have done which has been a Game Changer. It will help you review 2023 and take your to the next level in 2024. Answer the following questions take your time to really get the most out of this exercise .. What you want and why!!! Without a destination in your life it’s not possible to grow and succeed . The first thing we do when we get into our car is log in the details of Google/Apple Maps GPS. If we don’t know the destination the car will just go in circles your life will be the same way. I would recommend to read my book or reread it again as it will help you define your why and help your awareness on this area – Your Best Year Ever https://bit.ly/yourbestyr – Available in Japanese, Russian, Spanish, English, Swedish, Hindi, Chinese 2 – What are your highlights over the past year? This will help you focus and be grateful for the good things that happened…. 3- What were your struggles and why? This will help you see your patterns that don\’t serve you… 4 – What did you learn about yourself and what daily action habits can implemented to grow & reach my Business Goals and thus my Financial Goals? Nothing new happens in life with out change. Success can be attributed to the daily habits that make huge difference in our results. For example setting a goal you will share the Product and the Business once a day, everyday for 2024 for most this would be a Game Changer in results. Another example would be if you in 2023 were doing 30 minutes of personal development a day and changed it to 1 hour a day, just doing that extra 30 minutes a day how much more would you develop as a person as a business person….? Top 11 What I have learned in 30 yrs in Network Marketing
June 23, 2023 I celebrated my 30th year full-time/all the time in this great industry of Network Marketing. Looking back over the numerous milestones, defining moments, beautiful travel experiences, leadership challenges, growth challenges , record breaking sales, betrayals, a pandemic, nearly arrested a few times, numerous country launches, long life friendships created, hundreds of thousands of photos taken, thousands of lives changed & altered in health & wealth all because I made a decision. I can\’t imagine another industry that I would have chosen that would have even come close to these massive, epic, outstanding, fantastic, emotional, gratifying experiences.. To honour my journey and to help my fellow peers in the industry I have put together a top 11 list of what I have learned in my success journey. I hope this helps reduce your learning curve on your journey to the TOP! 1 – I fell in LOVE with my DREAM my Why my Purpose without this vision I would never have manifested my DREAM and made it to the top in my business and continue to stay their after more than a couple of decades.. 2 – I made a 100% commitment (my mantra was \”I shall Persist until I succeed\” Og Mandino) right from the beginning I would never think about quitting it was this decision that allowed me to overcome the rejection, the disappointments, the betrayals the leadership challenges , momentum loss challenges. I can honestly share I have never quit on anyone, never quit on my organization or quit on anything in my life.etc… This is what true commitment looks like…. 3 – 2 of my top 5 values in life Loyalty, Consistency(discipline) has served me really well. I became consistent & disciplined in the money making activities A – Sharing the Product B – Sharing the Business C- Teaching others to do the same everyday. My consistency had me sprint past 99.9% of my industry peers no matter how much massive action they created. The universe has paid me back on this numerous times over the years.. Loyalty see #2 4 – Its not possible to be in momentum all the time in business, My leadership skills and me as a Leader of my organization has been defined & challenged most when momentum was no where to be found, where most leaders quit and move on. Its when I stepped up to the plate even more as always and consistently lead by example… 5 – The best thing that I ever did with my mindset was I looked at the world as one country I chased the business where ever it took me. If you are not building a Global business today you are missing out on one of the greatest wealth paradigms in the world and in the industry of Network Marketing. Its another form of multiple streams of income. 6 – Most things our organization learn are caught from you rather than taught 7 – #1 reason organizations fall apart is due to Leadership mistakes 8 – The Greatest Personal Development Program did not come from any book, training, coaching program etc. it came from me traveling around the world (Now well over 60 countries) building teams from scratch. Nothing will prepare you for this and GROW you MORE!!!!. 9 – Trust is at the core of any successful organization, you can do everything right for 10 years, 20 years always following through with your promises but if you screw up once where you break a promise or you do something that is not integrity driven you will pay a massive price for this.. Your organization will fall apart no matter how big it is… 10 – I have always treated people in my organization that they are the most special person in the world to me at that moment. I have never turned down an autograph a photo, I always return my texts, my emails, my phone messages no matter who it is… You are never too successful to follow through and be attentive on the little things because if you don\’t you eventually will pay the price for this… Being recognized with Respect is one of the core needs & wants of people 11 – No matter how great technology has evolved and will continue to do so , and the pandemic has proven this, there is no greater tool in Network Marketing nothing comes close in advancing the business & building a long term Global organization than live events. Technology cannot duplicate the feelings the emotions the energy when human beings get together…. HOW TO EXPLODE YOUR INCOME AND BUSINESS IN 2022!!!!
A few years into my Network Marketing career I came across a book that became a difference maker for me in exploding my business at that time. A couple of years later a person in my organization gave me as a gift an audio program that I listened to everyday for 2 years that 20X my income and organization sales. So what does these defining moments have in common? AWARENESS!!! I started my personal development journey in 1993 I disciplined myself and committed to feeding my mind with only prosperity, abundance, hope and love for 45 mins a day…. When I wanted and needed to take my business to the next level all I did is increase my time in this area to 1 hour a day etc… to increase my awareness and then more importantly I taught that discipline over and over again. Those 2 defining moments probably would never have happened to me, it would have just been words on a page or just another audio program, because at those 2 moments all the hours I put into myself focused on growing my awareness came all together and aligned with me mind, body and soul – I JUST GOT IT!! Success is indeed Simple Disciplines Repeated overtime…. If you were disciplined enough to do 30 minutes a day in 2021 take it to an hour double that commitment and expect in due time to have these defining moments happen to you. YOU ARE EITHER MOVING TOWARDS WHAT YOU WANT IN LIFE OR MOVING AWAY FROM IT. THIS ALWAYS DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE FOCUSED ON MOST!
A BIG CLUE!!! CLEAN YOUR CAR!!!
For over 20 years I have volunteered for the Good Shepherd organization on their Saturday soup kitchens and their Christmas store. Families & individuals in need would register for the store and at an allotted time they would go throughout the store and choose food, toys, clothes etc… Since I was usually the youngest volunteer it was my job to carry the boxes from their shopping spree down a flight of steps and into their cars. I began to notice car after car that I loaded over the years were filthy dirty in most cases it looked like the cars had never been clean before. I could not help the thought or try not to judge, but I just imagined what their houses looked like and maybe it was a glimpse into why they were struggling in their finances. Before any of you take this post personally, please keep in mind I had loaded over the years thousands of cars, my observation did not come in a small sample size. Furthermore, a few years ago I was going to do business with a Real estate agent in investing in a few homes with her. I met her at her house and we jumped into her car and I was aghast the car was filthy with weeks old coffee cups & wrappers, her back seat was full of papers. She explained that she was using her car as an office as she probably saw the expression on my face. That was the deal breaker for me, if she allowed her car to be this messy what other things in her life she kept messy. You may not think that a clean car is important but it can be a reflection about you and your life in many areas.. When you respect your belongings particularly your biggest assets like a car that energy will continue through out your life in a big positive way. Always keep in mind the energy that exudes from you and what you own will always revert back to you in one way or another…
SCARED TO DEATH!
Its February 1994 and I am 8 months into my Network Marketing career. I was quite proud of myself of what I had accomplished up until then but I was looking for a GIANT QUANTUM LEAP in my business. I was an incredible student doing everything my mentors had told me because I was HUNGRY I was ALL IN 100% my work ethic was up their with the top achievers. I was doing the massive action thing, I was doing the consistency thing, I was reading countless books a month, I was listening to at least an hour a day of personal development, I was attending all local meetings and I personally was doing 1 home meeting a week. But there was still something that I felt I needed to do to experience that GIANT QUANTUM LEAP in my business, I could just feel it. I went to my mentors and each one of them told me I was doing all the right things and over a period of time I will see the GIANT QUANTUM LEAP happen. Although I believed in what they had to say due to my extreme \’WANTING\’ I was in LOVE with my DREAM I knew there was something more that I could do. I went to bed on February 3rd 1994, my extremely pregnant wife asked me for a massage and a thought came to me, why don\’t you ask your subconscious what the missing piece is. So that night before I fell asleep I asked the question. \”What do I need to do to experience this GIANT QUANTUM LEAP?\” I woke up in the morning and the answer came to me. I found that I was still living in my comfort zone with so many things in my life and business. So I decided that day to go knock on doors and sell and recruit. It was something that I would never think of doing. It was beneath me. February 4th was a freezing day I had an excuse not to go out that day but I was committed. I picked a neighbourhood in the next city to mine and I walked to my first house shaking and the door was answered by a woman, I smiled before I got any words out and she asked me to come in. I did my sales pitch, She was nice listened intently but said I will think about it.. Nice way of saying no… Door after Door I experienced massive rejection but something took over with in me I saw a vision of my future… It was incredible day I faced my fears I did not sell anything did not recruit anyone and the experience was incredible rewarding. That day led me to a GIANT QUANTUM LEAP in my business, I realized I could do anything I commit to 100% nothing was going to hold me back. No excuses, no distractions…..100% unstoppable. So my question to you today is what is holding you back from getting out of your Comfort Zone? When you face your FEARS and get out of that Comfort Zone you will become unstoppable as long as you ARE IN LOVE WITH YOUR DREAM!!! It\’s September 2009 I just landed in Moscow, Russia, it was my first time in Russia. I did not know what to think about Russia all I knew we were growing a big team in Pre-Launch phase and had several committed leaders. As I was patiently waiting in the customs line I was focused on how Grateful I was to have this upcoming experience… So now it is my turn finally I go up to the window and show my passport…. which has my Russian Visa glued to one of the pages. Suddenly he calls someone and the Gentlemen asks me what I am doing in Russia… I quickly stated I was seeing some friends…. and wanted to see the beautiful city of Moscow plus had some business meetings… He then points to my visa and points to the expiry DATE… OMG it shows that I need to leave in 2 days. My plan with the leaders was to stay for 9 days they were all extremely excited I made this commitment, they were waiting for this trip from me for over a year. Many events planned my schedule was jammed pack. Its an obvious error by the Russian Consulate in Toronto. The officer tells me emphatically, he can\’t extend it and I need to leave Russia in 2 days …. I can\’t believe this, what I am going to do, I made a promise. I have come to learn as a leader you never break your promises, no excuses. I have seen to many times leaders who make promises and break them because at the time they want to tell people what they want to hear. In all cases not following through with your promises will destroy the biggest of teams. When Trust is lost more than likely you can never get it back…. The consequences of this now starts to permeate through my entire being, I know if I leave in 2 days more than likely I will lose this team, if I extend my trip past the visa expiry date there is a great chance I get arrested and thrown into jail. Growing up in North America we all are programmed into believing the Russian state is brutal, so the fear is so outrageous now I need to gather my self and focus on a solution. So I gather my bags and walk out of the baggage department a group of women leaders are there to greet me with flowers and a loud ovation their energy is so infectious, it caused a major scene. I could not help but think , the people all around observing this were all wondering who is this guy getting greeted like this by all these beautiful strong women….. As I get to the Hotel I sit down with the main leader Elena and I tell her my predicament, she responds in her broken English \”Joe you can\’t leave, it will destroy all our work the previous year\”. I ask what will happen to me if I stay passed my visa expiry date. She does not know….. Right then and there I made the choice, I am thinking to myself I made a promise and I will not break it, no excuses, I always follow through. So no matter the consequences I will honour it.. The 9 days were incredible( although it was difficult I tried not to think about the fear of the unknown and believe it was major fear) the team exploded with the help of my European leaders Tomas & Garth who had driven the market with their visits, Russia became a monster for us. No matter what the excuse, no matter how difficult things become, never break your promises to your team…. One of the top 3 leadership reasons organizations fall apart. I have personally witness teams into the 6 figures that have crashed and burned.. Our greatest asset in Network Marketing is our organization, always keep in mind it is very FRAGILE even in the best of times….
Action
I consistently get approached with questions asking for network marketing advice. People ask if they should try a certain strategy old school – new school, how certain leaders become successful, how to build globally, what type of presentation generates the best results, if they should go to that Generic NM event, questions about their website, what I thought about their company etc… I had someone in my team recently design a plan which took him 3 months to complete to get to the top rank in the company. And who are most of these callers? Well many (but not all) fall into one category. They are people who spend time investigating, analyzing, and looking for an easy, cheap way to become an overnight success. They find it easier and safer to stay in a state of continuous investigation to avoid actually doing something to build their business. My advice to many of these callers: Go out and actually do something. Maybe even make your first prospecting presentation. Even if you make 20 more calls investigating network marketing theories, nothing will happen. Okay, I’am not very popular with some of these callers, but I do feel I should at least tell them the truth. What about you? Do you have distributors who do everything except contact prospects? Are they always putting together a new brochure or presentation that will fix all the problems of network marketing? Are they so busy with “busy work” that they don’t have time to recruit? Do they spend hours every day sending e-mails back and forth to people they have never met, and spending too much time on the social sites like facebook with no marketing strategy? Do they focus their time pretending to build relationships with the 800 nameless people they have captured in their autoresponder? What are you going to tell them? Are you going to say: “Nice brochure. You are really accomplishing a lot.” Or, are you going to tell them the truth? Will you say: Go out and actually do something that will build your business. Make a phone call. Meet a live person. Make a presentation. Sign up a new distributor. Can you imagine what your life could look like if you and your team followed this advice? All these years later that is the one thing that I have done well I consistently acted every single day on my DREAMS. Creating Results in your LIFE!!!!
A Couple of years into my Network Marketing career I stumbled upon a defining moment in my business that changed everything I realized instead of gearing my coaching and mentoring in teaching just the basics I started to focus on helping people raise their consciousness. When people in your organization raise their consciousness they will always figure out how to do the rest. When you have a team that is focused on personal development and you build that within your culture great things start to happen. A community of greatness will spread like a wildfire. Here is the challenge in this process is most people habitually are focused in the \”rear view mirror\” which prevents them from growing their Conscious level. It\’s like bending a hose the water will never flow, this is what happens to your success energy if you don\’t break through this destructive habit. Focusing on the way you want your life to be when things are not going your way in the present moment, is not the easiest thing to do. But if you have the determination to focus your attention especially in your business as your want it to be, rather than as it is, your income will change dramatically. When one understands this power of focus on today in the moment you will begin to notice the universe will start to respond to your desires, little coincidences that are not a coincidence appear you will then start to let go of everything and anything that is not part of your new vibration which is your focus/Your DREAM.. I can clearly go back into my life and see life changing moments for me where when I got in this mindset I let go of grudges, mistakes ,ex business partners, complaints, ill wishes, bad behaviour etc… At this point you will start searching for the things that serve you, you will come up with great new ideas, your thoughts will build momentum which will be evidence of the new you!!!! The greatest blessings I have received in my NM career is the number of countries I have visited (more than 50 now) probably have trained into the hundreds of thousands, these experiences have really led me to believe we are here to create as Creations of God and we are definitely worthy of every idea that comes to US. God Does not make JUNK!!! There is no greater creator than you and no greater reason to create than the things you desire in your life. Believe me the closer you get to your \”source\” which expands when you Fall in Love with your DREAM, the Greater Joy you will experience in your Life. So your source your internal guidance system, holy spirit whatever you want to call it will tell you that you are off track by how you feel. My desire and my passion is to help others think enough of themselves to feel good and do whatever it takes to feel good, that way you will have the ability to manifest your DREAM fast despite whatever is happening around you. With every thought you think and with every desire you give birth to the universe expands. And it is only through your joyous quest that all is possible. God Does Not Make Junk!!!!
