MARKETING STRATEGY OBJECTION – I CAN\’T AFFORD IT!!
The #1 thing that the World all has in common since the Pandemic has been inflation, we are not immune to the business challenges of the world that inflation has caused. From a Network Marketing Distributor point of view it could mean that they may be getting more objections on potential customers sharing they can\’t afford to buy a product or products or join the business. Well a strategy that I have used very effectively for years is when I get this type of objection, I then ask them in return \”I can show you a way where you get the product for free and or reduce the cost of the product drastically, would you be open to me showing you how to do this?\” By asking this question I #1 find out very quickly the person is really not interested in the product and they are just giving me an objection that is really not the truth. #2 or they are telling me the truth and they are really interested in buying the product So the next step is you take them through the process and I will say something like \”Have you ever watched a movie and you loved it so much that you shared it with a friend and because of your recommendation they went to see the movie. Well it works the same way here in NHT Global but unlike that movie theatre or producers of the movie, NHT Global will send us money when we refer people to the products…. I am sure you know a lot of people who are business minded, entrepreneurial and or people who feel health is very important to them. I will help you share the product and or business with them through our strategies and marketing tools and when they enrol as a customer and or a business distributor you will earn money for that referral, which you can use to purchase the product. Do you have any questions on this or are you ready to get started with this plan…?\” It is as simple as this… Keep in mind this person\’s warm market now becomes your warm market. We always will get better results in working warm markets than a cold market because of the relationships… When you have people ready to get started with the product and or as a distributor then you go back to the person and say \”these people are ready to get enrolled its time that we enrol you so you can starting earning money on these referrals.\” You will be amazed at What happens during this process because of the fear of loss in most cases these people will find a way to get the money for their first product order knowing full well they will receive money from their referrals and potential for more in the future… Sending you lots of great energy with this strategy…. 2024 tips to making it a Great Year!!!
One thing that most all human beings want starting today January 1 is a better year than the previous year especially in the financial department. There is a exercise that I have done which has been a Game Changer. It will help you review 2023 and take your to the next level in 2024. Answer the following questions take your time to really get the most out of this exercise .. What you want and why!!! Without a destination in your life it’s not possible to grow and succeed . The first thing we do when we get into our car is log in the details of Google/Apple Maps GPS. If we don’t know the destination the car will just go in circles your life will be the same way. Nothing new happens in life with out change. Success can be attributed to the daily habits that make huge difference in our results. For example setting a goal you will share the Product and the Business once a day, everyday for 2024 for most this would be a Game Changer in results. Another example would be if you in 2023 were doing 30 minutes of personal development a day and changed it to 1 hour a day, just doing that extra 30 minutes a day how much more would you develop as a person as a business person….? Top 11 What I have learned in 30 yrs in Network Marketing
June 23, 2023 I celebrated my 30th year full-time/all the time in this great industry of Network Marketing. Looking back over the numerous milestones, defining moments, beautiful travel experiences, leadership challenges, growth challenges , record breaking sales, betrayals, a pandemic, nearly arrested a few times, numerous country launches, long life friendships created, hundreds of thousands of photos taken, thousands of lives changed & altered in health & wealth all because I made a decision. I can\’t imagine another industry that I would have chosen that would have even come close to these massive, epic, outstanding, fantastic, emotional, gratifying experiences.. To honour my journey and to help my fellow peers in the industry I have put together a top 11 list of what I have learned in my success journey. I hope this helps reduce your learning curve on your journey to the TOP! 1 – I fell in LOVE with my DREAM my Why my Purpose without this vision I would never have manifested my DREAM and made it to the top in my business and continue to stay their after more than a couple of decades.. 2 – I made a 100% commitment (my mantra was \”I shall Persist until I succeed\” Og Mandino) right from the beginning I would never think about quitting it was this decision that allowed me to overcome the rejection, the disappointments, the betrayals the leadership challenges , momentum loss challenges. I can honestly share I have never quit on anyone, never quit on my organization or quit on anything in my life.etc… This is what true commitment looks like…. 3 – 2 of my top 5 values in life Loyalty, Consistency(discipline) has served me really well. I became consistent & disciplined in the money making activities A – Sharing the Product B – Sharing the Business C- Teaching others to do the same everyday. My consistency had me sprint past 99.9% of my industry peers no matter how much massive action they created. The universe has paid me back on this numerous times over the years.. Loyalty see #2 4 – Its not possible to be in momentum all the time in business, My leadership skills and me as a Leader of my organization has been defined & challenged most when momentum was no where to be found, where most leaders quit and move on. Its when I stepped up to the plate even more as always and consistently lead by example… 5 – The best thing that I ever did with my mindset was I looked at the world as one country I chased the business where ever it took me. If you are not building a Global business today you are missing out on one of the greatest wealth paradigms in the world and in the industry of Network Marketing. Its another form of multiple streams of income. 6 – Most things our organization learn are caught from you rather than taught 7 – #1 reason organizations fall apart is due to Leadership mistakes 8 – The Greatest Personal Development Program did not come from any book, training, coaching program etc. it came from me traveling around the world (Now well over 60 countries) building teams from scratch. Nothing will prepare you for this and GROW you MORE!!!!. 9 – Trust is at the core of any successful organization, you can do everything right for 10 years, 20 years always following through with your promises but if you screw up once where you break a promise or you do something that is not integrity driven you will pay a massive price for this.. Your organization will fall apart no matter how big it is… 10 – I have always treated people in my organization that they are the most special person in the world to me at that moment. I have never turned down an autograph a photo, I always return my texts, my emails, my phone messages no matter who it is… You are never too successful to follow through and be attentive on the little things because if you don\’t you eventually will pay the price for this… Being recognized with Respect is one of the core needs & wants of people 11 – No matter how great technology has evolved and will continue to do so , and the pandemic has proven this, there is no greater tool in Network Marketing nothing comes close in advancing the business & building a long term Global organization than live events. Technology cannot duplicate the feelings the emotions the energy when human beings get together…. When you want to experience certain desires more tangibly and permanently, you must focus your thoughts into experiencing them as part of your life. The more you breathe, dream and live your DREAM, the faster and more powerfully it will show up in your universe. The more attention you channel into an area, the more results you get at a faster rate. Attention is mental life. What you focus on is where you give life to. Neglect causes a thing to wither away and die. Some of our successful projects start declining and failing when we take our focus away for too long. To keep our dreams alive, we must keep feeding them with our thoughts and actions. When you focus a lot of your attention on something for a prolonged period of time you create lots of results in that area. Everything is energy. Even time and space is energy. Some people seem to progress faster by spending more time on doing certain things and less time on other things. The reason why this is the case is not because of time, but because they are simply concentrating energy more in that direction. Someone can spend less time doing something and yet still accomplish more than another who spends more time on it because the first person is spending energy more efficiently than the second person. It is all about finding vibrational balance in your life. The more fulfilled you are in the way you live, the more fulfilment you will attract and the better your energy will be. Time and space are illusionary but their essence can be seen as energy. So therefore in synopsis the more energy and thus time you put into your DREAM no matter how many distractions come up in your life you will speed up your manifesting of your DREAM ……. HOW TO EXPLODE YOUR INCOME AND BUSINESS IN 2022!!!!
A few years into my Network Marketing career I came across a book that became a difference maker for me in exploding my business at that time. A couple of years later a person in my organization gave me as a gift an audio program that I listened to everyday for 2 years that 20X my income and organization sales. So what does these defining moments have in common? AWARENESS!!! I started my personal development journey in 1993 I disciplined myself and committed to feeding my mind with only prosperity, abundance, hope and love for 45 mins a day…. When I wanted and needed to take my business to the next level all I did is increase my time in this area to 1 hour a day etc… to increase my awareness and then more importantly I taught that discipline over and over again. Those 2 defining moments probably would never have happened to me, it would have just been words on a page or just another audio program, because at those 2 moments all the hours I put into myself focused on growing my awareness came all together and aligned with me mind, body and soul – I JUST GOT IT!! Success is indeed Simple Disciplines Repeated overtime…. If you were disciplined enough to do 30 minutes a day in 2021 take it to an hour double that commitment and expect in due time to have these defining moments happen to you. YOU ARE EITHER MOVING TOWARDS WHAT YOU WANT IN LIFE OR MOVING AWAY FROM IT. THIS ALWAYS DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE FOCUSED ON MOST!
SCARED TO DEATH!
Its February 1994 and I am 8 months into my Network Marketing career. I was quite proud of myself of what I had accomplished up until then but I was looking for a GIANT QUANTUM LEAP in my business. I was an incredible student doing everything my mentors had told me because I was HUNGRY I was ALL IN 100% my work ethic was up their with the top achievers. I was doing the massive action thing, I was doing the consistency thing, I was reading countless books a month, I was listening to at least an hour a day of personal development, I was attending all local meetings and I personally was doing 1 home meeting a week. But there was still something that I felt I needed to do to experience that GIANT QUANTUM LEAP in my business, I could just feel it. I went to my mentors and each one of them told me I was doing all the right things and over a period of time I will see the GIANT QUANTUM LEAP happen. Although I believed in what they had to say due to my extreme \’WANTING\’ I was in LOVE with my DREAM I knew there was something more that I could do. I went to bed on February 3rd 1994, my extremely pregnant wife asked me for a massage and a thought came to me, why don\’t you ask your subconscious what the missing piece is. So that night before I fell asleep I asked the question. \”What do I need to do to experience this GIANT QUANTUM LEAP?\” I woke up in the morning and the answer came to me. I found that I was still living in my comfort zone with so many things in my life and business. So I decided that day to go knock on doors and sell and recruit. It was something that I would never think of doing. It was beneath me. February 4th was a freezing day I had an excuse not to go out that day but I was committed. I picked a neighbourhood in the next city to mine and I walked to my first house shaking and the door was answered by a woman, I smiled before I got any words out and she asked me to come in. I did my sales pitch, She was nice listened intently but said I will think about it.. Nice way of saying no… Door after Door I experienced massive rejection but something took over with in me I saw a vision of my future… It was incredible day I faced my fears I did not sell anything did not recruit anyone and the experience was incredible rewarding. That day led me to a GIANT QUANTUM LEAP in my business, I realized I could do anything I commit to 100% nothing was going to hold me back. No excuses, no distractions…..100% unstoppable. So my question to you today is what is holding you back from getting out of your Comfort Zone? When you face your FEARS and get out of that Comfort Zone you will become unstoppable as long as you ARE IN LOVE WITH YOUR DREAM!!! Building YOUR Business Foundation
Last December 2019 I was in the beautiful city of Trujillo, Peru the first of 4 city\’s on my Peru Road Show events. The local leadership team invited me to visit a buried ancient city Chan Chan that was found in the early 80\’s. The city was the capital of the Chimú kingdom (c. ad 1100–1470) and the largest city in pre-Columbian America. As we walked into the burial tombs where all the Royals of that society were buried. All the Gold, Silver Diamonds, etc. that were buried with the Kings, Queens, and Royal subjects were pillaged by the Spaniards. It was typical behaviour by the Spanish settlers when they found anything that was valuable they would do anything possible to secure the possessions even kill, and then they would send the wealth back home to the mother land Spain… Today Latin America, Mexico to the southern tip of Argentina I believe is still paying the price for this. Let me explain…. When you compare Canada and USA prosperity of its average citizens to Latin America there is a significant difference. It\’s really not logical, they are on the same side of the planet, settled by basically the same people Western Europeans and have similar resources. I believe the difference in the 2 society\’s came when the foundation was created. In Canada and the USA the settlers primarily came here looking for a home this is why we celebrate Thanksgiving where as Latin America the Spaniards and the Portuguese primarily came looking for wealth and they certainly founds lots of it and sent it back home. Today it seems that energy that was created is still permeating in both continents… Keeping this in mind when you start your Network Marketing business or any business in general the energy that you start with will effect your future success or failure. Energy will always permeate for years. I believe 100% because I had fallen in Love with my DREAM then attracted Network Marketing as my vehicle to my Dreams my foundation of my business was unbreakable and it led me to a life of Prosperity and Abundance….. I have seen so many who start for the wrong reasons (bad foundation), or they will try to see if it works, they are looking for wealth, and easy fix to their financial problems etc… It\’s not possible to have a strong foundation in your Business if you have not fallen in Love with your DREAM!!!! It\’s September 2009 I just landed in Moscow, Russia, it was my first time in Russia. I did not know what to think about Russia all I knew we were growing a big team in Pre-Launch phase and had several committed leaders. As I was patiently waiting in the customs line I was focused on how Grateful I was to have this upcoming experience… So now it is my turn finally I go up to the window and show my passport…. which has my Russian Visa glued to one of the pages. Suddenly he calls someone and the Gentlemen asks me what I am doing in Russia… I quickly stated I was seeing some friends…. and wanted to see the beautiful city of Moscow plus had some business meetings… He then points to my visa and points to the expiry DATE… OMG it shows that I need to leave in 2 days. My plan with the leaders was to stay for 9 days they were all extremely excited I made this commitment, they were waiting for this trip from me for over a year. Many events planned my schedule was jammed pack. Its an obvious error by the Russian Consulate in Toronto. The officer tells me emphatically, he can\’t extend it and I need to leave Russia in 2 days …. I can\’t believe this, what I am going to do, I made a promise. I have come to learn as a leader you never break your promises, no excuses. I have seen to many times leaders who make promises and break them because at the time they want to tell people what they want to hear. In all cases not following through with your promises will destroy the biggest of teams. When Trust is lost more than likely you can never get it back…. The consequences of this now starts to permeate through my entire being, I know if I leave in 2 days more than likely I will lose this team, if I extend my trip past the visa expiry date there is a great chance I get arrested and thrown into jail. Growing up in North America we all are programmed into believing the Russian state is brutal, so the fear is so outrageous now I need to gather my self and focus on a solution. So I gather my bags and walk out of the baggage department a group of women leaders are there to greet me with flowers and a loud ovation their energy is so infectious, it caused a major scene. I could not help but think , the people all around observing this were all wondering who is this guy getting greeted like this by all these beautiful strong women….. As I get to the Hotel I sit down with the main leader Elena and I tell her my predicament, she responds in her broken English \”Joe you can\’t leave, it will destroy all our work the previous year\”. I ask what will happen to me if I stay passed my visa expiry date. She does not know….. Right then and there I made the choice, I am thinking to myself I made a promise and I will not break it, no excuses, I always follow through. So no matter the consequences I will honour it.. The 9 days were incredible( although it was difficult I tried not to think about the fear of the unknown and believe it was major fear) the team exploded with the help of my European leaders Tomas & Garth who had driven the market with their visits, Russia became a monster for us. No matter what the excuse, no matter how difficult things become, never break your promises to your team…. One of the top 3 leadership reasons organizations fall apart. I have personally witness teams into the 6 figures that have crashed and burned.. Our greatest asset in Network Marketing is our organization, always keep in mind it is very FRAGILE even in the best of times….
DISTRACTIONS IS YOUR BIGGEST ENEMY…..
SOMETHING TO CONSIDER IS IT HARDER TO RECRUIT TODAY IN THE INDUSTRY OF NETWORK MARKETING…..? You may think Technology has made it easier to reach out to people, most of us would agree to this. When I first started the industry the 3 ft rule and newspaper advertising were our primary source of leads… Today due to technology there are hundreds of methods to reach out to potential prospects…. Your enemy though in building in today\’s world is DISTRACTION…. Consider these facts…. The Average person in our Society is exposed to 63,000 words of information – On an average day is DISTRACTED by INTERRUPTIONS every 11 minutes and checks their SMARTPHONES 110 Times… DISTRACTIONS IS THE ENEMY OF FOCUS Are you sending your prospects to a recorded business presentation 97% + will never watch through the presentation, particularly if its more than 20 minutes? Are your FB lives more than 15 to 30 minutes 97% + will never watch the entire Live even in the replay… If your company videos are more than 5 minutes and they don\’t capture peoples attention in the first 2 minutes they will become a redundant tool . To succeed in the industry you need to understand DISTRACTIONS ARE KILLING YOUR BUSINESS… Not just for your prospects but you yourself. Are you spending most of your day on FB, Instagram etc.., do you find you are trying to multi task looking at one thing and trying to be productive at the same time…? The Distraction Disease will sneak up to you and it then becomes a way of life…. and it will be hard to let it go… To succeed in prospecting you need to be expose your prospects \”bites\” of information until they get serious about your business opportunity… The work does not stop there even when they enrol it is most important today then any time in the history of this industry you need to help your new distributor to determine their DREAM. It used to be our biggest nightmare in duplication were the DREAM Steelers today it is DISTRACTIONS… Repeat this statement at loud FALLING IN LOVE WITH MY DREAM WILL HELP ME OVERCOME THE DISTRACTIONS DISEASE… YOUR DREAM WILL SET YOU FREE…..
